Rufus Brassell / Andy Brown

Wasn't Brassel fighting under the name of Andy "Big Boy" Brown? Managed by the comedian Red Fox Brown?
We got an Andy Brown, heavyweihgt out of Portland.
Is this the same guy?
Read somewhere that Brassell kept fighting for a while, with that Brown thang, then came back with his original name.

I BELIEVE THAT HIS MANAGER WAS NAMED BROWN, BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM FIGHTING UNDER ANOTHER NAME....A FEW YEARS AGO I READ THAT RUFUS IS A PROSPEROUS SUPERMARKET MANAGER IN LIMA, OHIO...HE WAS A DECENT FIGHTER.

Well, Brown weighed 186 for his 1982 fight with Bill Mercier. I don't know if Brasell was a big heavyweight, but if he was then it's safe to say that he couldn't have weighed 186lbs and therefore can't be the Portland Andy Brown. Maybe someone can check the weights listed for Brasell.
