I have concerns where it says it was signed by Julian PRIOR to the fight? Although the belt would be carried out by the NEW champ it would be returned as the new champ would receive a new belt. I would want more than an email to establish it's authenticity to be honest.

Was that his ACTUAL belt though or a replica? I've seen plenty of replicas sell for anywhere between £1,000 and £3,000 but I think 5k is a snip for this item when you consider its a piece of Boxing history.
It was the real deal (excuse the pun).

I know this was to be auctioned to help raise money, as a follow on from the ITV programme, does anyone know if this is that auction? Or was it initially sold and is now being sold again?

No bids so far though and starting at £4,999 seems a snip for someone with a spare few quid. If they publicised that it was on Ebay, then maybe they'd get a bit more interest.
The one one the program was benns belt it went for 31k right? this is gerallds belt as far as i know.

Yeah - This is for Geralds belt, unsure about them auctioning Benns belt, can't remember. I was at that Benefit show in London though and i'm sure Prince Naz donated one of his belts to raise money to, think that went for about 10k from memory......
on that recent tv show they done benns belt went for 31k

Benn sold all of his boxing related stuff. Although I think his WBO belt is still unsold, oddly.

I wouldn't take his belt if it was offered for free.

To many bad vibes around his previous life and the manner of his loss.

Probably jinx your life.

Now this video is an interview with Kevin Leushing, here he shows the belt, now before you spend out a few grand, i'd ring 01992 451332. As this is the number supplied by Leushing on other sites i've seen about buying the belt. i can't see that number anywhere on the Ebay advert.

I actually own the belt in question. It's a piece of boxing history from in my opinion, one of the greatest boxers that ever lived.

It really is and it seems to happen so often, always seems to be Lonsdale belts for sale on ebay, just think what people have been through to get one of them and then they sell it for a few grand
