Very difficult to call this fight

I ended up voting frampton, without much conviction. Frampton a bit more proven against better opposition, but selbys a skilled boxer.

Hard decision to call this one

It's a really interesting match up, hope they manage to make this happen. My heart says Frampton due to his better skillset, my head says Selby proves too big in the Championship rounds. Could go either way this one though.

Huge fans of both fighters and I hope it gets made. Selby runs rings round quigg so no need for that one.

Selby could be the most talented boxer we have, when he's on song he looks fantastic, but Frampton's been in the better opposition so far and has all the tools really.

I'd go Selby hoping that the big fight brings the very best out of him but its a hard one to call.

Also like to see Quigg v Galahad.

I think Selby could make this pretty easy for himself if he kept it at long range frampton is a great mid range boxer but not so good at long range having said that a Selby would need to be very focused to pull it off

Selby is talking a lot of sense here, if you ask me.

Anyone get the sense that Carl doesn't really want the Selby fight?

Santa Cruz set the blueprint for beating Frampton in the 2nd fight imo, Selby has the style & skillset to carry it out. As mentioned earlier in the thread tho, Selby can be inconsistent so would definitely need to be at his best on the night.

That's what's making me think it's Carl's fight mate. Selby on his game is pretty special but to say he's a hit and a miss is an understatement. He also doesn't carry the power or physical strength that LSC has IMO.

Selby at his best vs LSC is something I wouldn't mind seeing actually.

Watched Selby vs Stephen Smith back recently. Anyone know what price was Selby to win that fight? He won pretty much every round and then starched Smith badly

No but I’m sure swifty was bookies favourite. Selbys got skills in his locker, I voted Frampton but tbh it could go either way this one

If Selby beats Warrington in May, this is the fight to make in the summer at Windsor Park...

Selby hasn’t had the respect / following he deserves from Welsh sports fans. Partly due to way he’s been promoted and partly down to bad timing.

I don’t think he’ll get that nationalistic following when he fights Warrington either - a fight I think he’ll win. If he does beat Warrington a stadium fight with Frampton in Belfast will be a real game changer for him. Thousands would make the short trip over the water to support him.

No idea how many welsh fans are going to Leeds to support him. Doubt there’s many beyond his regulars

Yes. Lee's jab at range is hard and accurate. Carl would have to eat a lot of leather to get where he need to be. While I have no doubts about Carl's toughness, I can see him taking a lot of damage and I wouldn't be that keen to take this fight if I was him.
