Adam Kownacki
Re: Adam Kownacki
They asked to be USA, it's up to them.
Re: Adam Kownacki
He's Polish fighting out of New York.
Re: Adam Kownacki
He's got US citizenship, and if he asks us to be listed as "American" instead of "Polish", that's his choice, as John already stated...
Re: Adam Kownacki
He has USA citizenship and represented USA in amateur ranks

Yes abc, you need a typing lesson. Perhaps one of your kids. Young people are much better at this stuff.
On your content, Adam should be proud of what he has accomplished, not where he's from. If you're proud of things you didn't earn, you didn't earn anything.
Re: Adam Kownacki
That`s very interesting becouse he always speak about that he is very proud to be Pole, he speaks very good Polish, wears Polish national clothes, even in the ring his trousers, shoes are also in Polish white-red. I`m very surprised...John wrote:They asked to be USA, it's up to them.
Re: Adam Kownacki
There are far more American HWs in the database (370 active vs just 25 active Poles) and he's based out of the USA, so perhaps his team want him ranked as an American so his name and details are more visible, particularly to the management of fighters relatively nearby.
As for being 'ashamed', Kownacki moved with his family to the US as a young kid. Him being an American citizen and fighting out of the US hardly suggest that he's ashamed of his Polish background.

Re: Adam Kownacki
He is associated with Polish, he is a proud Polish
Re: Adam Kownacki
This is a non issue, it's up to him what he wants to be listed as.
Re: Adam Kownacki
Frankly I think the fact that there are some posters criticizing him for wanting to be listed as a citizen of the USA instead of Poland is ridiculous...I mean...he lives in America. He's obviously proud of his Polish heritage and has many Polish fans that are proud to cheer for him. What's the problem?
If you lived somewhere for most of your life from childhood would you not say you were from there?
