Found this interview with George Warren from December 2015 which makes it very clear B0xnati0n subscribers will not be out of pocket for PPV events.

Going to be tough for them to spin their way out of this if they ask subscribers to pay anything over and above their usual £12.00 to watch Canelo Vs. Golovkin.

Yes, it will. BT sport and BN will want the extra wonga that PPV brings in, but if they wanna milk their subscriber base that is gonna be controversial.

Was meant to be released what the PPV and costs etc would be on Monday but it's still to be announced.

FW just says his son will confirm everything shortly.

I'm currently still paying for both BN and Bt Sports because of this scenario.... if I find out I've been wasting away the BN subscription and this is still a seperate PPV event then I will be FUMING.

I've watched a couple of Friday cards that are on BN but not on BT

Yeah the deal is 20 shows with BT - the smaller hall Friday nights etc will still be on BN.

Also some of the earlier fights on the stacked cards are on BN before it comes on BT.

With BT Sports (full package) on Sky you get the full allegedly thrown in for free - it is part of the package.... but I am still paying for both (what a fool) but I am hoping this might mean I don't PPV. If I do still need to pay extra again for GGG vs Canelo I'll be tamping.

1-- I don't want to watch it in a pub surrounded by pissed up , drugged up , twice a year experts ,
2-- I don't want to risk not getting a stream for it

Phone up and haggle with Virgin - I got mine to £110 region including allegedly and Racing UK for racing as well plus movies.

Got my old mans to £94 - he doesn't have Movies/BN

You just need to play the leaving card - and haggle.

Sounds to me like your mate pays for a paid IPTV subscription basically he's just watching streams but someone or a group of people run it so you just click on a link say skysports one and then instantly you will be streaming sky sports one is a lot better than in the past when you had to go through sites trying to block adverts ect. They will also get all the PPV and different channels from across the world. Not 100% sure but think it's not illegal for you to view it but is for the people that host it I could be wrong as it might of changed recently also sky and virgin are trying hard to stop these though.

I chucked Sky in over 2 years ago , I stream everything and its £50 a year. My Sky bill was £130 a month with BN and multi room. I have never looked back. The streams have worked perfect, never had any issues what so ever.

Its 100% legal to stream the content because you are not downloading anything and the stream files are only stored in your temporary internet folder .

I would never sign up for Sky TV again, complete con artists.

Mine is about £50 as well also never had any problems with it. All the channels you can get with the top sky package plus movies that are not even released yet and all the PPV in crystal clear HD with no buffering

The only reason I signed up was because of my hatred of sky and their PPV cons, I was lead to believe BN subscribers would get it for free, maybe pay and get a refund? If I have to pay I will because I really want to see this fight but then I will cancel my subscription.

Me too. Surely BN won't risk alienating hardcore fans and longterm subscribers over this event? It would be crazy. Sky doesn't need the hardcore boxing fans, but BN certainly does.
