For ease of reference, the video of Vargas is below. He never mentions Wheeler. Even if I had never seen the video the idea that Vargas mentioned Bradley Wheeler would seem strange and would prompt me to do further research. If you told me that Vargas knows who Bradley Wheeler is I would be surprised. I mean, what are the odds that Jessie Vargas is familiar with a 16-12 MMA fighter from Romford who has never fought in the UFC?
How a journalist can summarize a three minute video and get such a basic fact wrong is stunning.
