That would be shocking. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him for a long time.
Why not it's only July he can fight later in the year.
Because of money. No other promoter is going to pay him close to half of what roc Nation did.

You're saying Andre Ward should box for 2 Million ?

Popularity is one thing and quality is another.
Andre on a guess would happily defend his title in Oakland again I would have thought against lesser opposition for 3.
He's the best boxer in the world today.

At most, he should be boxing for a half million. He doesn't sell tickets and people don't watch him. More power to him, but roc Nation lost millions on his contract. Watch. And Crawford is better than ward at everything.

It doesn't matter if the Number 1 boxer doesn't sell large volumes of tickets ... it's based off his ability.

If compromising quality based off of earnings becomes an issue there needs to be an adjustment in the way that we think.

Just because some guy isn't appealing to the public shouldn't qualify him for a downgrade, he's done nothing wrong.

Obviously not, but there is no reason for another company to lose money just because roc Nation did. It is a business. Businesses need to appeal to their clients/consumers, etc..

How can a guy who was outscored and knocked down in the first fight -- and gifted by a referee ignoring low blows in the 2nd fight.. be P4P... INSANE!!!

Because your analysis is BS and he won both fights.
It's not analysis bullslinger... It's objectivity and having 2 working eyes, which you you lack.

The Kovalev-Ward fights were both good fights... Fans would watch if the officials where honest... Fans don't like being ripped off by corrupt officials.

Yeah, no reason at all. Unless they're fools. Promoters definitely need to work harder, none alive could work hard enough to turn a profit paying ward 6.5 million dollars. Not sure why you care, does he pay your rent?

I never said it did. Crawford doesn't either. I think Terrence is better at boxing.

Ward is not going to be P4P No. 1 for long. If Golovkin and/or Crawford win their fights, then it should be one of them.

Not to me, but yeah, I agree that the powers that be will consider that. Actually, I already believe they should be No. 1 and No. 2, but their next fights will determine who is 1 and 2 in my mind, assuming they win of course. I know that my opinion does not matter to Ring Magazine, ESPN, and HBO.

Lomachenko is better... Crawford is better... Mikey is better... Beterbiev is better... Usyk is better... Joshua is better... Spence is better... Ortiz is better... Rigondeaux is better... Golovkin is better... Alvarez is better... Russell is better... Walters is better... Ward never proved that he's better than Kovalev.

LMAO at Ortiz being better than Ward. Andre might beat him straight up, much less P4P.

Ward would get murdered...

If Kovalev can reach him, floor him, and chase him around the ring with hard shots -- LO's right hook and right uppercut would tear him a new nose hole.

He is not even LHW #1. Beterbiev beats him. If Ward touches Beterbiev's balls, he gets his own torn off.
