I've picked Brophy for this one. Fielding really hasn't impressed me in the Ryder or Rebrasse fights (fights I had him losing) while I see Brophy improving a lot.

Ryder and Rebrasse are both better fighters than anything David Brophy has fought to be fair though ?

I know Brophy stopped Zac Dunn in Oz but he'd hardly stopped anyone previously.

Better than anyone Brophy has fought or beat?

Pretty sure he has fought Groves who has beaten one of the aforementioned

Close fight to call. I'm edging Fielding as he's the biggest puncher of the two.

Know a journeyman who's been in with Brophy though and he rates him highly. Said he punches an awful lot harder than record suggests.

Good fight this.

I think Fielding gets a bit underrated here. I mean, he obviously wouldn't last 10 seconds with Jamie Cox (lololol), but he's not that bad. An EBU level fighter for me, and I think he'll have enough to win this.

Agree.
Losing to Callum was a major setback to his career, he has come through that and definitely is EBU level, and such a likeable chap with a fan base that puts bums on seats.
Great matchmaking and should be a great 50/50 fight. Even the poll on this thread is 50/50 so most agree.

I saw his first KO in the pros and he absolutely poleaxed the guy. Was a highlight reel KO.

Really torn.Fielding has the better record, but like brophy but we know he avoided John Mcallum ( ) for most of his career-Joke bte

Brophy has stepped up before, and while it disnt go well im confident him and his team have learnt from it and will have a winning plan for this fight

i think someone mentioned above, Brophy is improving and on the 'upward' part of his development curve, I wonder if that will be key here.

Good fight, and looks to be a good card. I'm edging towards Brophy, but honestly I can't really call it.

Really good fight. Both can bang & can also be stopped. Hopefully we get to see it. Maybe slightly favour Brophy who might have a bit more ambition.

Wouldn't say Brophy could bang he's not noted as a puncher but your right he should have more ambition.

Rocky Fielding
Good competitive fight but I can't see Fielding not taking this as I think Fielding hits harder, has more experience at the higher level and has the better resume. I never really rated Brophy when I watched him but I didn't see his last fight which was a great result over a undefeated fighter so Brophy must be rapidly improving. I know people on here rate him and he is held in high regard from his trainer Billy Nelson but I think I think Fielding is a class above him. I expect it too be tight for the first third but Fielding to take over from round 4 or 5 and get him late or a clear points decision.

Fielding is seasoned enough to take this, Brophy must be buzzing after his recent win, but one swallow doesn't make a summer.

It's an interesting fight still, Fielding should be dealing with Brophy but he's looked shaky since Smith obliterated him, Brophy has his chance here.

Is a strange record Brophy's got as he certainly doesn't look like he lacks power and was super composed once he had Dunn hurt. Have noticed his 3 KO's have came against guys with winning records whilst its the stay busy/journeymen fight he has mainly went the distance with.

I think he'll get the job done one way or another but he does have a tendency to hold his feet, middle of the ring (based purely on groves and Dunn fights) when he's being hit - something I think Fielding could capitalize on.

I'd have Fielding as a favourite here, however it would not surprise me at all if he loses. I do not rate Fielding at all, he had 2 poor performances against Rebrasse and Ryder which I thought he lost. Saying all this, I do like Fielding, he's a very like able guy.
