Depends on how they win.
Not to me, but yeah, I agree that the powers that be will consider that. Actually, I already believe they should be No. 1 and No. 2, but their next fights will determine who is 1 and 2 in my mind, assuming they win of course. I know that my opinion does not matter to Ring Magazine, ESPN, and HBO.
I do not see a win over The Indongo vaulting Hitman Jr in front of SOGgy. A dominant win by 3G or GingerHead would do it, however.

Lomachenko is better... Crawford is better... Mikey is better... Beterbiev is better... Usyk is better... Joshua is better... Spence is better... Ortiz is better... Rigondeaux is better... Golovkin is better... Alvarez is better... Russell is better... Walters is better... Ward never proved that he's better than Kovalev.
Yes he did. I have Krushedner still top 5 p4p with 3G, Lomassiah and Hitman Jr.

Beterbiev? He isn't top five in his own division, yet.

Usyk would be top 3 if he walks through the tourney.

AJ needs to clean out HW.

Spence is below Keith Once Upon A Time Thurman on my current list.

Ortiz?

Rigo needs to fight somebody.

If GingerHead dominates 3G he will vault to #1, imo, and vice versa.

Russell Jr should fight Rigo.

Walters? :maybe:

SOGgy is clearly #1. That is likely to change in September.

Andre ward might be the first boxer in history whose standing falls dramatically after two successive wins.

The words 'dirty' and 'cheat' have followed him for years and he's done nothing to help himself.

He's not the only one of course but he is the most skillful. Or should that be, most protected?

He be reigning Light Heavyweight Champion if he got the opportunities... He's been a professional for over 4 years.. Mike Tyson was a professional for 18 months when he had 28 fights AND the Heavyweight Championship at 20 years of age.. That's what happens when you get the fights and opportunities.

Beterbiev is not a top 5 LHW at this time. Maybe he needs an MBA.

Maybe he needs to be an American instead of a Russian -- and a Christian instead of a Muslim.

If it weren't for nationalism and bigotry -- many people throughout history would have gotten opportunities...

Likely wouldn't for an Eastern European... That doesn't change his origin, religion, or the fact Donald Trump is president and he can't get a visa.

I don't remember if I have him Top 5 right now or not, but I think highly of him. Inactivity is hurting him a lot though.

I am guessing low blows, headbutts, elbows and excessive clinching is your definition of "clean".

I currently have Andre #1, but due to the questionable way he got there it wouldn't take much to take that spot from him.

Crawford, Lomachenko, or the winner of Golovkin vs. Canelo could be No. 1. Ward is not top ten pound for pound in my opinion.

I don't look at ward and see a guy that could handle a light heavyweight Crawford or Spence
