Man, Mike Perez looks small there, crazy considering he's the former HW.

I like this as well, all the boxers in all divisions should simply fight more often.

It can't be true that an idiot like Stiverne simply remains pretty much inactive for 3 years and then receives another title shot, that's ridiculous.

SMW:

Groves-Cox
Smith-Skoglund
Eubank/AA-Yilidrim
Braehmer-Brant

CW fights:

Usyk-Huck
Gassiev-Wlod (apparently made ahead of time due to Wlod being IBF mandatory)
Briedis-Perez
Dorticos-Kud (!)

I'm pretty satisfied with how the matches worked out. I'm especially looking forward to the Dort-Kud KO battle

This is so positive for boxing and long overdue
ESPN tried it at a much lower level and even that uses to be fun, this is a whole planet apart and boy is it going to be awesome.
Cruisers often get overlooked in the scheme of things and this puts them in the spotlight for a change.
Fantastic.

Groves-Cox
Smith-Skoglund
Eubank/AA-Yilidrim
Braehmer-Brant

So are the semi finals

Winner of Groves vs Cox against winnner of Eubank / AA vs Yilidrim

And

Winner of Smith vs Skoglund Vs winner of Braehmer vs Brant

Or is there some crazy re-seeding process

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Marco Huck on September 9 in Berlin

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

The first contest of the World Boxing Super Series will be the cruiserweight quarter-final between WBO World Champion Oleksandr Usyk (12-0, 10 KOs) and Marco Huck (40-4-1, 27 KOs) at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, Berlin on September 9th.

Number one seed in the 200lb (90.7 kg) bracket, Usyk, picked the experienced German fighter to be the third defence of his title at the Draft Gala in Monaco earlier this month.

The pair fittingly meet in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, Berlin. A venue named after the famous German Hall of Fame boxer who is fondly remembered for his rivalry with the legendary Joe Louis.
