Yes I don't condone violence, I would personally ask the stewards 1st to intervene but I wouldn't walk away completely from my seat, Especially if my kid was there or wife for that matter.CaptainSpacerod wrote:MPG wrote:Are you serious?CaptainSpacerod wrote:Gypsies shouldn't be let in. Most Travellers (high percentage) who attend boxing shows behave.
There's videos after videos of settle people rioting at Boxing shows ,I don't have to tell you what backgrounds they come from, but should we banned them all.
Why would anybody who has paid top dollar for a ring side seat give it up ? Grow some balls & Some pride. Many Travelling Fathers encourage their kids take up boxing, not to fight. I/We are encourage to learn to defend ourselves.but gypsies seemingly have a much greater proclivity to fight than normal people. They're encouraged to fight as children so it's hardly surprising that as adults many of them are only too happy to spend drunken evenings throwing lumbering widearm punches at anyone in their vicinity.
There are bullies in all Nationality's,
As for giving up the seat it depends entirely on the situation. A couple of chaps sat together who can look after themselves may well decide to take on a group of drunken, scruffy, overweight, posturing yobs. The same bloke sat there with his wife or teenage son may decide that discretion is the better part of valour and hope that the stewards can eventually restore order.
Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?

Its a hard one is'nt it ,I've not been in that position , i know i would want to stand my ground and have a go , but by the same rule if i had my wife or kids with me , i would'nt really want to put them in danger ,MPG wrote:Yes I don't condone violence, I would personally ask the stewards 1st to intervene but I wouldn't walk away completely from my seat, Especially if my kid was there or wife for that matter.CaptainSpacerod wrote:MPG wrote:

What happens if Tyson loses (depending on the manner and to whom) would be the litmus test for me. If Haye had won by KO, say, with his celebrity mates on one side and John the Meditator on the other...
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
There is a burgeoning bromance between David Haye and Joseph Parker after fate brought the two together randomly on the streets of London.
They must have hit it off as the haymaker has offered Joe full use of his gym and a place to stay gratis, leading up to the Huey Fury fight. What a nice chap!
He must really dislike the Furys

Expect a video from the furies soon saying how it is wrong and totally racist that haye has offered parker a place to train.KiwiRider wrote:There is a burgeoning bromance between David Haye and Joseph Parker after fate brought the two together randomly on the streets of London.

Tjey complained like bitches when AJ i believe went a spared wlad in the build up to fury v wlad.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
They would have to explain to Joe what a Traveller is first.
Not even sure I know.
Arnt they a sort of white trash who live in caravans and suppliment their dole with petty crime and are very sensitive to racist remarks only when it is derogatory towards them?
I'm just guessing, I didn't get the PC pamphlet

Did they? I remember Froch basing his entire hatred of Groves on George sparring Kessler in the run up to Kessler-Froch.nitro5912 wrote:Expect a video from the furies soon saying how it is wrong and totally racist that haye has offered parker a place to train.KiwiRider wrote:There is a burgeoning bromance between David Haye and Joseph Parker after fate brought the two together randomly on the streets of London.

It might be a hard sell
Mickey Ellison has been added to the undercard.
No offence to him or his fans, but this fight needs a NAME on the undercard or it really is going to be a hard sell......

I'm not sure anyone understands the promotion on this fight.Manchester Hitman wrote:If they get more then 2k to attend this I would personally be shocked.

It seems to be 3 promotors but only two own up to promoting it, then hovering in the back is fast Eddie.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
I still don't get this fight. Hughie has fought mostly journeymen and old men on undercards and small venues and is virtually unknown outside of proper boxing fans - even then he's not that exciting or popular. Parker is an unknown world champion from the other side of the world. This fight just doesn't work at all in the Arena.

Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
Just checked the seating plan and tickets haven't changed much since this thread was created.
Alternatively, if this fight doesn't go ahead and it is then Parker v Whyte - does this sell out O2?

Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
Same. It's gonna be absolutely dead and the tickets will be dirt cheap/free by fight week. If it's even going ahead.Manchester Hitman wrote:If they get more then 2k to attend this I personally be shocked.
The undercard is absolute tosh.
Lee Carter is on the card too and can shift some tickets, but at small hall level. Whilst a nice and quite funny guy in his interviews is absolute bollocks in the ring.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
Probably not but could do decent numbers depends on a decent undercard. If Joshua v Klitschko 2 happens in Vegas then that's a perfect fight for the undercard especially for Parker as he trains in Vegas.fightfan95 wrote:Just checked the seating plan and tickets haven't changed much since this thread was created.

Yeah had a look at the seating plan. Small Blocks gone from before which would be to undercard fighters to sell personally, so they don't necessarily represent sold tickets.
Casuals just aren't going to buy into this at all.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
Still no TV confirmed. BT have annouced 2 shows for October already.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
Hearn is always going to be hovering around this as the WBO title is the weakest of the lot, regardless who wins this fight. It's an easy way for him to either get Joshua another belt, (he'd obviously batter Hughie or Parker) or set up a fight with someone like Bellew/Whyte which will do decent business and keep the belt in-house so to speak.KiwiRider wrote:I'm not sure anyone understands the promotion on this fight.Manchester Hitman wrote:If they get more then 2k to attend this I would personally be shocked.

Warren is the real odd-one. He's gone from having everything to do with the NZ fight to nothing to do with this one yet he's still meant to be promoting Hughie.
Re: Is the Fury v Parker going to be a hard sell?
He said on IFl he met Peter a couple of days ago. Yet as you allude to he was talking A lot about Hughie then just stops. If he was involved with the parker fight he would have been at the presser a few weeks ago.dirk2686 wrote:Hearn is always going to be hovering around this as the WBO title is the weakest of the lot, regardless who wins this fight. It's not exactly confirmation, but an article on Boxing Scene (I think) about Ellison fighting on the undercard said ITV Box Office will be showing the card.Naandrew wrote:Still no TV confirmed. BT have annouced 2 shows for October already.

Just seen the boxrec schedule it has ITV box office there.magnus wrote:It's not exactly confirmation, but an article on Boxing Scene (I think) about Ellison fighting on the undercard said ITV Box Office will be showing the card.Naandrew wrote:Still no TV confirmed. Mental if that is the case. For financial reasons it would make some sense for it to be PPV because it is an expensive fight to put on.
But no one will pay PPV for this. So soon after McGregor Mayweather and Canelo GGG. Then the fight itself is obviously not going to appeal to casuals. No one knows them

even ITV box office undercards have been decent and probably an important factor in buys.
I'm giving it first week in September to fall apart.

Yeah Iv gotta be honest the Eubank undercards haven't been at all bad. I dread to think what this will look like tho. Although in all honesty I expect it to be shelved when they realise how bad the ticket and ppv sales are going to be.

Get Hughie on loose women asap - I bet he will have washed up Jordan and the other middle age bints creaming their nickers.
That will translate to PPV buys and tickets sales
