Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
I was impressed with Miller tonight his hand speed is impressive for someone that heavy !
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
yup, good pace too
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
I thought it seemed like he was moving in slow motion. He also had no snap on his shots.
I will say that he wears 298 well....I expected him to look like a bigger slob.

Yeah I thought he'd bring more power tbh suprised he looked so sluggish, i'm glad he won though because if he went v whyte next it would be a great fight to watchcrusader wrote:I thought it seemed like he was moving in slow motion. He also had no snap on his shots.

You guys should look at Ismael Lazaar once in kickboxing. When I saw him for the first time I thought wow, what a joke, I think even I can handle him. Somehow in the ring he literally dominates just about anyone in kickboxing. I'm quite confident Deontay Wilder for example would lose badly against him.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
I think this guy a real threat to everyone bar Joshua ,he's like a bigger version of chisora
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
There's another kickboxer called something like Tyrone Sprunt or similar who is good.asdfjkl wrote:You guys should look at Ismael Lazaar once in kickboxing. I thought he was average against an awful opponent. He will wear down people without true power, he will take an absolute whalloping off people with power. He did well I guess for his size in terms of not gassing out at any moment, but other than that, nah, average.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
Wahingston was beaten before he started. He didn't believe he could win and it was obvious before the bell rang. Disappointing, good boxer, big strong boy but no belief. It's not as if it would take a great deal of skill to beat miller.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
Not really too impressed with Miller just yet tbh

He moves... before the end, he looked just as gasses as Washington.
Nothing behind his punches. He was throwing what looked like heavy punches, but non really seemed to bother Gerald.
I want to see Miller vs. Whyte!!

Whyte wants it as well, I wonder if Miller dares.Ruthless-RKO wrote:He moves... before the end, he looked just as gasses as Washington.

@Sklar and Stuarty30 I think Tyrone Spong would beat them both, I assume you meant him and I also assume both of you simply don't know enough about this sport to know how to write his name. I'm happy I am educated enough for such things.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
He is 29. If he was under 25 I would say give him time and less cheeseburgers. But at 29 your possibly looking at the finished product and the finished product is set for a recall the first time he jumps in the ring with a half decent opponent, or anyone with decent power.Oiky wrote:Not really too impressed with Miller just yet tbh

Moves around...the buffet table?
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
He's a good fighter. He'll never get the best he could out of himself though because he's too lazy. He'll lose fights he could've won because of his lack of discipline.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
Miller didn't impress tbh great.chin come forward.fighter.. him Vs Ortiz Browne or whyte good fight to be made I think he probably will take any punch from anyone super tough but thats all. Tyrone spong interesting but kickboxers.dont always transition.well surprised.jerome le banner didn't try more.at.boxing.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
Le Banner was great to watch. Huge punch and a shaky chin....I remember him KTFOing a younger Skeleton in a round

I thought Washington put in a decent performance, moved around well, landed some good crisp shots on Miller and showed heart when it was clearly not going to be his night.Supremo wrote:Wahingston was beaten before he started. At the end of the day if your punches don't carry enough pop to deter your opponent then there's not a lot you can do.
Re: Miller moves around nicely for someone at 298lb
Washington boxed well for the first 2:30, but his confidence seemed to totally evaporate once Miller closed the distance and cornered him.
I could tell the end was very near when Washington went all out with his best shots in the 7th or 8th, and Miller just smiled at him. To be honest, I think Washington did well to make it that far after seeing how negative his body language was as early as the second.

Skelton looks as bad kickboxing as he did boxing.

Haha true, dreadful, sooo slow.Tomasino wrote:

He just gave up very early on. Someone with the skillset of Washington + some belief + some stamina would have been able to just outbox Miller and win on points. Washington was intimidated and gave up.CaptainSpacerod wrote:I thought Washington put in a decent performance, moved around well, landed some good crisp shots on Miller and showed heart when it was clearly not going to be his night.Supremo wrote:Wahingston was beaten before he started. It's not very often you'll see a heavyweight have the stamina to dance for ten rounds against a bigger opponent. Whenever Wash engaged him he'd land nice punches but Miller just walked through em.TheCobra wrote:

Who of the current crop could see off Miller just by outboxing him ?
