The Moment It All Went Wrong......

Post by Taansend »

.....For Broner :OhYes:

Pretending to bum Maidana early on in their fight. Since that moment it's all gone downhill for the boy

Any other examples of a fighters career going tits up after a bad decision on their part?

Leon Spinks - Not his fault as such, but the moment that he got the decision in the first Ali fight! :o

That was never supposed to happen & he could not handle the fame & fortune & his career was derailed massively because of that.

When Manny agreed to fight Horn at Brisbane and didn't take it seriously.

Ohara Davis thinking he could throw his defence out the window and attack Taylor recklessly like the last few easy beats he was up against.

He had to step up in the UK before going to EU level. I thought it was about the right time. It was sheer carelessness and overconfidence that led to his undoing. He could have won that fight on the outside, as everyone expected him to.
And that's coming from a Tartan Terror fan (me  )
