A word from Harry Greb - THE REAL WORLD CHAMPION!

Post by gilgamesh »

Just wanted to say this.

Archie Moore vs Carlos Monzon this week for the "Undisputed" Middleweight Championship

Now that's cute...well it's VERY MUCH disputed. It's disputed by ME. The REAL Middleweight Champion. It's also disputed by any Sim Boxing fan with 2 eyes in their head, anybody knows I can beat you two. Archie Moore you couldn't beat me legitimately so you needed a referee to do it for you, if you're any kind of a real man you'll give me a rematch if you beat Monzon this week.

And Monzon...I already slapped you around earlier in the season punk so don't go around calling yourself Champion until you come SEE ME! You got that!

Beat YOU Moore or YOU Monzon. GREB WANTS THE WINNER!

Now excuse me while I go prepare to beat the sh*t out of Shane Mosley. I'm in a foul mood this week.

Fucks this bad WWE promo. You lost, get over it, go back in line. Moore was hit with 6 fouls, and Greb got 3 points taken away before he was DQ'd. That's amazing to me, because I usually see guys lose a point, sometimes 2, then they are DQ'd.

The winner can defend against who they want. Perhaps Robinson, perhaps Greb, perhaps an easier touch. A DQ is always a hard way to lose, but Greb really pushed the boundaries in that fight with the fouls.

If they wanna defend against YOU or anyone else before they defend against me they ain't nothing but a sorry ass Paper Champion, and they know it.

Says the #4 ranked Sim boxer. If you would have stuck to your plan and looked to avenge a loss against Hearns, I'd say fight this man. Even if you took a somewhat easier opponent on this week. You are taking on Shane Mosley though?!? Come oooonnnnnnnnnnnn. At least face a better CPU foe!

If Greb was in such control of the Moore fight, he wouldn't need a soft touch this week.

Greb has faced a murderer's row, and reigned as a defending Champion for WEEKS. There's nobody in the Sim more deserving of a soft touch, and as far as soft touches go you can go a hell of a lot softer than Sugar Shane Mosley. We're not looking past him.

He beat Walker for belt in week 23. He beat Leonard for all the belts on week 24. Although he was headed to a loss, he won on a cut late. Still, a win is a win. He lost all the belts in week 25.

How is that a defending champion for weeks? Nobody is including the minor belts as being a "champion"....

They should be in Greb's case. Look at his list of opponents as the MGM Grand Cup holder and IBO Champion

Week 13: W12 (MD) Mickey Walker
Week 14: KO 12 Stanley Ketchel
Week 15: TKO 6 Emile Griffith
Week 16: D12 Bernard Hopkins
Week 17: W15 (UD) Maurice Hope
Week 18: D15 Jimmy Bivins
Week 19: W15 (MD) Bob Fitzsimmons
Week 20: W15 (MD) Pernell Whitaker
Week 21: W15 (UD) Bernard Hopkins
Week 22: W15 (UD) Mickey Walker
Week 23: TKO 13 Sugar Ray Leonard

That's a hell of a list of fighters to be defending a "minor" title against. Nobody will ever equal my reign with that title. It's minor when THEY hold it, it wasn't minor when I held it.

It's not a belt to call yourself champ with. You had some good defenses with it simply because you brought it into the tournament. Don't kid yourself, you weren't a reigning, defending champion as you put it.

Nice run with it none the less.

2 of my guys have beaten Hopkins, and Tommy Ryan would have too if his fight with Hopkins had gone to the scorecards as it should've.
