Boxing veteran Shannon Briggs admits to WABC Radio Host Rita Cosby that he took performance-enhancing drugs for about six months.
The WBA recently suspended him for failing a PED test.
For the first time, Briggs responds to that suspension and test saying, 'I did take a performance enhancement thing. I do apologize for those who feel that I hurt them. I will admit to that. Yes, I did. I take full responsibility for what I did.'
Briggs tells Cosby that now 'I'm 100% clean'. He says he got the PEDs from a trainer, but declines to name the trainer, and says he is looking forward to boxing again soon, and is planning a fight in November or December.
Briggs also talks about the recent retirement of Wladimir Klitschko, the upcoming Mayweather/McGregor bout, and his new 'Lets Go Champ' Sports & Entertainment company.

It was obvious he was on HGH, his body changed dramatically from his V Klitschko fight to his resurgence. Moreover, his odd behaviour compounded the fact.

Comon man! You didn't suspect it already?
And only 6 months?
He took steroids, but had the excuse that it was against his asthma. Just like the sisters Williams, who took all kind of doping, but received permission for alternative curingmethods or bullshit like that.

Yea, because Oquendo is a massive top contender, TBH I think Briggs would have planned to hand the belt over to Fury, or very maybe tried to get a fight against Wilder.
People talking about Mayweather-McGregor being a circus... Shannon Briggs is the real circus, putting on the same act for 20 years.
He fights 3rd raters while talking trash out of his mind until he gets a money fight.. Gets his ass beat.. Then starts the process over again.. He hasn't done anything conceivable that could possibly earn him a Povetkin fight, just talk trash -- but here we are again.
