I thought that the Broner/Garcia fight would end up being a lot closer. A modest winning weekend after all.

Mikey Garcia (-225) vs Adrien Broner $450.00 for $200.00= $200.00
Mikey Garcia wins by split decision (+750) $25.00 for $187.50= -$25.00
Mikey Garcia wins by majority decision (+1250) $10.00 for $125.00= -$10.00
Adrien Broner wins by split decision (+1000) $15.00 for $150.00= -$15.00
Adrien Broner +8½ points (-115) $115.00 for $100.00= -$115.00

McJoe Arroyo (+160) vs Rau'shee Warren $50.00 for $80.00= -$50.00

Jarrell Miller (-175) vs Gerald Washington $175.00 for $100.00= $100.00

Nathaniel Gallimore (+360) vs Justin DeLoach $35.00 for $126.00= $126.00
Saul Corral (+1250) vs Victor Ortiz $25.00 for $312.50= -$25.00

May/Shabranskyy under 7.5 rounds Even
Soto Karrass +160

Herrera has looked pretty bad for a few years, especially in his last 3 fights. Karrass has a lot of miles on the tires too, but is younger and I've never seen him not come to fight. Karrass at + money looks worth a shot.

In the under, both guys have to make a statement. Both have been dropped before. Worth a stab at even money.

Did they pay you out on this bud? UK bookies have moved the goal posts with this in the past.

Yes, two different sportsbooks paid me. Marriaga's corner threw in the towel after the end of the 7th round, so that's a Lomachenko TKO in round 7 at 3:00. I could not imagine what excuse there could be to not grade this as a win. If it ended after the 6th round, that would be different. That is always ruled by boxing commissions as a TKO in round 6 at 3:00 and would have lost. In other action, I really thought Soto Karass could have gotten the decision in the bout with Herrera. It was very competitive and Soto Karass easily won round 9 and possibly round 10 too and Herrera just barely squeaked by with a 96-94, 96-94, 95-95 majority decision. I was surprised that Ray Beltran didn't stop Vasquez, but the latter was game enough to survive. Ended up with a small profit after all for the second weekend in a row with Loma's stoppage.

Jesus Soto Karass (+190) vs Mauricio Herrera $55.00 for $104.50= -$55.00

Todd Unthank May (+305) vs Vyacheslav Shabranskyy $35.00 for $106.75= -$35.00

I thought Karass edged it myself. It was close enough though that the 96-94 Herrera was feasible.

IWhat do people think of McGregor landing less than 20 punches @18/1.

I'm tempted to put a few hundred quid on as well as the small bets I have paid

Is that 20 punches according to CompuBox?

My reservation would be that it often seems like a punch will get counted simply because one guy was throwing. I've seen guys throw a flurry, clearly land nothing, yet get credited with a connect, almost as if the punch counter was like 'eh, he deserves something for it'. McG doesn't even need 2 punches a round if the fight goes the distance...

Its a fair bet, I'm really struggling to picture a scenario where McGregor can land anything his feet are that bad

20 punches is not much, I think the over 20 punches for McGregor is a better bet, especially if the punch count is judged liberally and/or the bout goes longer than many expect. There are a lot of unique props for this fight. As a big MMA fan, I personally will be rooting for Conor as I think it would be a lot more fun if he gets a huge upset. I know a lot of people- probably most people- think Conor has almost no chance to win. HBO analyst Max Kellerman said that Conor has a zero percent chance to win this fight. I only made a few small bets myself so far at big odds so I can root for the upset: Conor wins in round 1; Conor wins in round 1-3; and Conor wins in round 1-4. I've read a lot of debate on the merits of betting the over or under 9½ rounds, the Floyd inside the distance line and even the point spread props available on 5Dimes. I'm curious to see who among the 'Conor has no chance' people puts their money where their mouth is and bets the proverbial house with Floyd as low as -500 on some sportsbooks.

I put £100 on maywether by TKO. Specifically TKO

I did the TKO only prop with Joshua over Klitschko and it worked out for me. Of course, Floyd has to actually go for the stoppage against Conor. What odds did you get on this?

3.5 decimal mate. The stoppage is 1.67 best price.

Julius Indongo won me a nice little bit of money as an underdog against Ricky Burns in his most recent bout. I know that Terence Crawford is a step up from there, but I like the value at +1000 on Indongo in case he starts very aggressively as per his style and puts Crawford under pressure early next Saturday August 19th. Potentially could even live bet Crawford at a very low line if he drops the first round and then have action on both sides at + money or at least close to it.

FMJ 1-6 @11/4
FMJ WIN 1/4

Said I would.t touch this fight but I'm really tempted to put this year's pot plus some more on the WIN. Cannot see any other outcome.

Mayweather should really be buying money against McGregor at 1/4. I think it's probably worth waiting until the day of the fight though as the odds may be even better then as apparently most of the money has been going on McGregor bizarrely.

The mayweather odds are astonishing. A 25% return is amazing but I remain nervous about some sort of stitch up. I might have a side bet on Mayweather disqualification to cover myself.

That's my worry as well but surely Mayweather isn't going to throw the fight and have is unbeaten record taken by a guy who has never even had a professional fight before. That would badly tarnish his legacy.

It wouldn't really hurt his legacy, but he would never let that happen. I think the people that say Floyd may drop his '0' intentionally for the money of a rematch are as looney as people that think McGregor can win.

I think it definitely would hurt his legacy were he to lose. He certainly couldn't be described as the best of all time if he lost.

I don't think he can be described as that when he wins. So yeah, anybody that thinks he's the greatest of all time would have to come back to earth. Losing over 40 years old has never hurt any fighters legacy.

How many have lost to 0-0 opponents who aren't boxers? I think a loss would definitely hurt how he's generally perceived...
