I think Mansour probably beats Whyte, I'm pretty content saying he could have won a world title if he was backed by a promoter.
Re: Jarrell Miller: "I'll knock Whyte out!"
Would be a good fight. Unless one gasses I think it goes the distance, neither seem to have huge power despite Miller's KO%. Whyte shows decent skills sometimes but was drawn into a scrap with Chisora, one that I thought he lost. I'd back the Chisora that showed up against Whyte to do a similar job on Washington than Miller did, I wasn't overly impressed with Miller in that fight. Takes a good shot and has a decent engine for his size but the vast majority of his punches were arm punches.
If Whyte could get his respect with his power then he could out point him, but if Miller can walk through Whyte like he did Washington, it could be another brawl. I'm not a massive Whyte fan but one thing is for sure, if Miller was walking him down he'd put up more of a fight than Washington did.

Washington pretty much quit by the 3rd round. The fact Miller couldn't get rid of him in the 4th 5th etc says it all.
I have only seen that fight as far as Miller goes, and from that, I don't rate him at all.
He could get into better shape in the future but at 29 I think it might be to late to teach him how to punch or defend himself.

Every Heavyweight these days avoids their contemporary fellow contenders. When you look at a Heavyweight Top 20 list very few of those guys have fought each other. It's a joke.

The best of promoters can't do much about prison. There used to be a poster here obsessed with mansour we all made fun of. I like him now, ballsy fighter.TheGingerBomber wrote:I think Mansour probably beats Whyte, I'm pretty content saying he could have won a world title if he was backed by a promoter.

I would like Mansour to have a decent fight.. potentially a world title fight..SaadOffTheDeck wrote:The best of promoters can't do much about prison. Mansour vs. Briggs would be good
Re: Jarrell Miller: "I'll knock Whyte out!"
Mansour would dominate and stop Briggs inside 5 or 6 rounds. Briggs is shot. I don't know what people don't get about that by now. Briggs can't beat anybody in the Top 40.Ruthless-RKO wrote:I would like Mansour to have a decent fight.. potentially a world title fight..SaadOffTheDeck wrote:The best of promoters can't do much about prison. That's why it would be good. Briggs would have a good opening round, then we'd see Mansour unleash his power shots on Briggs and as you said, stop him midway..gilgamesh wrote:Mansour would dominate and stop Briggs inside 5 or 6 rounds. Mansour at CW and without jail time would've been interesting. He's done well given his age and size..

I mean since he left prison, I don't know what he was like before, as I'm new to the sport but from what I've seen he's one of the most underrated heavyweights around given his performances against Washington, Breazeale and last time out (forgot his bastad name)

That's why I'll always respect someone like Tony Thompson. He only fought top 20 guys 2012-2016. Literally willing to face anyonegilgamesh wrote:Every Heavyweight these days avoids their contemporary fellow contenders.
