Floyds been awfully quiet lately

Post by montrealsuper »

No media, no photos in training, and only minimal hype on his social media, he's actually more into hyping his new strip club hoe house. Still wondering if it could be true that the $30m in the hole to the IRS Floyd could be throwing this fight? If Floyd wins easy, everyone will hate floyd even more, for feeling ripped off again. If Floyd dives or takes a beating, he will make a fortune and also another fortune in the rematch. Floyd's quietness lately is suspect. Even fight hype has shown nothing lately from floyd.

Just saw a video of Malignaggi talking about how close the sparing was while denigrating Conor as a "weird arrogant scumbag." So the two sparring sessions were competitive and they went to 12 rounds. It almost seems as if he's selling the public that Conor is capable of winning the fight. I smell the fix. Floyd is diving or taking the beating for the $ to pay off the IRS and McGregor vs Malignaggi is being built up for next year.

Fight Hype has an hour long audio of Malignaggi talking about his time in Conor's camp. Paulie says that Conor made the sparring partners stay in a dilapidated "crack" house. They had to be on call during sparring days, so there was no set schedule. The next time they were supposed to spar, they were called to go to the gym. Then they find out that they will not be sparring today. Paulie wanted to at least train, but was not allowed to because Conor was going to be in the gym trying new things and did not want to reveal anything to the sparring partners. Paulie was fed up to the point that he decided to leave. The other sparring partners stayed because they want the money. Paulie called Conor's camp a fiasco. Paulie also did not like the photos being released and warned Conor about this, but he still released more photos anyway.

Yeah, let's get the public warmed up with Mayweather - McGregor, than down the line hit them with the *real* payday fight.

Floyd's only going to earn $200 million +. Forbes says he worth $700 million---it's just not all liquid

Mayweather takes a dive? What are some of you smoking?

If people realized what a massive favorite Mayweather is, then this fight wouldn't sell too well. The best way to drive up the sales figures is to diminish Mayweather's apparent chances and exaggerate McGregor's chances. That's why you see McGregor hamming it up, strutting around, disrespecting Mayweather, claiming to drop Malignaggi in sparring, and so on. Meanwhile, Mayweather is acting super quiet, taking all of McGregor's disrespect on the chin, and doing nothing to act tough. That causes the perception of competitiveness to be a lot more even, which is the difference between a $60 million fight and a $180 million fight.

No mention of Al Haymon in your post? This has got to be a first.

Live gate ticket sales are poor. Why is Floyd not out there more trash talking and selling the fight? This fight is a huge platform for Floyd to sell his brands and promote his endeavors and boost ticket sales but he's virtually in hiding. Something fishy is going on here. I thought Floyd loves the attention? Why isn't he on Kimmel or late night talk shows or even BET hustling this fight?

Some good points, and added to that Roid is saying how slow he is and how tough training is going. McGregor's hype has stumbled thanks in part to Paulie reacting to the "knock down" pictures. It all smells of a sham like we knew it was from the start.
My PPV money will be spent next month on a real boxing match

Now Floyd sounds like he knows he's going to lose. Or is he setting up the public to accept teh shock dive when it happens? Very very interesting quotes by Floyd in this article. After reading this I expect Conor to be the 5-1 favorite by fight night lol http://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12 ... e-on-paper

To help alleviate all this suspense and concern for Mayweather, be aware that before camp opened, Mayweather said that he was going to concentrate on training and let McGregor's mouth promote the bout.

After a 2 year hiatus, and especially at age 40, Mayweather recognizes that he has to work especially hard to get into top boxing form.

He's very comfortable letting McGregor do the boasting, bragging and threatening to sell this matchup.

On Aug. 26, Mayweather will do all his talking in the ring.

He's got you hook, line and sinker doesn't he? He'll get your money too from the sound of it, and then WE'LL get your vitriol that it was a fixed fight, and Conor didn't even try or whatever.

Your act is fairly predictable at this point.

Making stupidity a ban worthy offense might start a bad precedent. I don't think much of his comments, but it's not ban worthy...at least not yet.

He's already rich, and believe it or not I think he's quite proud of the fact that he's undefeated. I don't think he'd throw that away because as long as he's undefeated and people like you are foaming at the mouth at the prospect of seeing him lose there'll always be another HUGE multi-million dollar payday waiting for him if he needs it.

Not an especially active one though. If his nonsense was flooding the forum I might consider it, or at least give him a warning for now I don't feel the need to do anything.

If something changes on that front I'll keep ya posted. For the most part I'd like to keep it so that you'd pretty much never know I was a mod except for the little symbol they gave me. If anybody ever gets the boot from me it'll be universally accepted that they deserved it.

Little things like this, unless they get ridiculously out of hand aren't a big deal I don't think.
