Good as he is, Johua can only fight one guy at a time.
If he wants to keep his IBF belt he has to fight Pulev next. If he wants to keep his WBA belt he has to fight Ortiz next. Hopefully, the IBF and WBA will work it out between them.
Pulev and Ortiz are possibly Joshua's next two title defences it just depends in which order they happen.

Hearn is correct - no point pretending Pulev isn't first in line and he should get the crack first. Joshua can only fight one guy at a time and unless Pulev doesn't want the fight that man cannot be Ortiz first.

Question - if Ortiz fights Wilder this year and loses, and Joshua fights Pulev and wins, does anyone have an idea as to where Ortiz stands re WBA mandatory?

Maybe it won't be an easy fight for Joshua, but AJ must win here. However, everything is slowly going to Ortiz-Wilder fight, while IBF is still likely to give Pulev another chance.
