Dedicated to the great but unfortunate Gerald McClellan
He deserves tribute because he was great fighter. McClelan was braindamaged for entertaning us in a sport we all love, Mcclelan has also paid what he has owed regarding dog fighting so stop with this shit.samuel wrote:Great, another tribute to Gerald the animal abuser. Adopt a dog, tape it's mouth shut, then see how long it takes your pitbill to kill it. Yeah, he really deserves a tribute.

No, his main attribute was his ability to cripple opponents with one punch! It wasn't until his last two, or three years of fighting that he would come in after the weigh in at around 170 to 180, and that only happened three, or four times at the most!

I'd say Gerlad was the bigger single puncher but Nigel threw more combinations and had the better boxing skills. I think Julian Jackson was a bigger single puncher than Gerald but didn't have such a good chin.BoxBuzz wrote:Who hit harder with a single punch....Gerald Or Nigel?
As for those who are still going on about the dog fights, tell me this, did the dog fights stop you watching Gerald fight in the ring?.... I think not, if you feel so strongly adopt a dog or a cat but stop whining about people who feel some sympathy for a brave man who suffered brain damage for others entertainment....
I think Gerald's condition is worse than being dead and a humans life is worth much more than a dog's to me anyway.silkov wrote:I'd say Gerlad was the bigger single puncher but Nigel threw more combinations and had the better boxing skills. Yeah I think both J. Jackson and McClellan hit harder then N. Benn without a doubt -
But both McClellan and Benn were a bit more aggressive (number of punches thrown and cutting off the ring) then was J. Jackson.
I think shot for shot J. Jackson was a bigger hitter then McClellan even...but McClellan had the better chin.
J. Jackson was also at his best at JMW.....but still was a KO artist at MW.

McClellan was the bigger one punch hitter, but Benn could certainly bomb as well. There are some less than quality opponents on McClellan's record, but he still knocked out quality fighters in the same manner that he did others when he moved up in competition...20+ first round knockouts in 34 fights...very impressive.
Havn't you got anything better to do?... for someone who is condemning another for cruelty you are doing a good job of being a heartless twat yourself!... well done big man!...samuel wrote:Yeah, a guy who tapes dogs mouths shut and then watches them get ripped to pieces really deserves our respectRazorKO wrote:He deserves tribute because he was great fighter. I basically agree wth you, but I also feel a major factore in Benns reductions in KO's was also due to moving up to 168lbs. Benn was never a big Middleweight so when he moved up a division was often facing naturally bigger guys.
In the first few years of his career Benn often stated that if the money was right he could make Light-Middleweight.
There is no evidence that Gerald did half the things that he has been accused of... I find any cruelty to animals abhorrent and have worked with organizations that help abused animals but I find it just as abhorrent people saying that Gerald has got what he deserved and even that he deserves no help now and that his family that is caring for him deserves no help... pure hypocristy!... caring for animals is great but the world would be even better if we cared more for other people as well...Decagon wrote:How has Gerald "paid what he owed" by engaging in dogfighting? What happened to him was terrible, and even though I'm a dog lover myself, I wouldn't disabuse anyone of sending money to his sister, but if he hadn't been injured, he'd probably still be torturing dogs to this day.
Did Geralds Dog fighting stop you watching his fights when he boxed?...Decagon wrote:KOJoe,
Jackson moved up in weight just as much, and he was still able to knock people out. How many top middleweights did Benn put on their asses?
Silkov,
He spent most of his adult life involved in dogfighting. Did he buy a dog from a pet store, tape its mouth shut and sic his pitbull on it? I have no idea, but I do know what the world of dogfighting is like, and it's repulsive to me.
