George was on The Six Million Dollar Man around this time, too. Seems like he was really trying to get himself out there and remake his image, post-Ali.

I hope, for George's sake, he didn't have to do anything That goes on in Hollyweird to get those roles.

Back in those days(early 1970's)
George Foreman would have been what was called
'A Square".

Hey check out this trailer to this movie released in 1974.
BLACK SAMSON.
When I saw this at the Drive-In back then,I thought to myself,
Was this movie made to originally star George Foreman?
Because the dude in it wears a Dashiki, has a pet lion as a sidekick
and walks caround carrying a really BIG STICK.
Foreman would have been perfect for the role.
check out the trailer and see what u think.

Yeah,I just watched the episode again last night when I got the dvd in the mail from Netflix.
I hadnt seen that show since about 1976.
Big George is pretty good in it
he does his best Jim Brown-esqe imitation in it.
He even does a couple of running scenes
one in which he runs down a dark alley,
which I think was suppose to be a homage
to the scene that Jim Brown did in THE DIRTY DOZEN.
Foreman also gets involved in some bare knuckled fisticuffs
including the jabbing right into the camera shot.
It was kind of strange seeing Foreman with hair again on top of his head and how young he looked back then.
If you are a George Foreman fan you should probably rent this dvd to watch it for the first time or to watch it again like I did.

If this was broadcast in February 1975, I wonder when it was filmed. Before or after Zaire?

Hard to tell when that particular episode of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN was taped, but I would guess around late November/early December 1974?

Here is George Foreman as he appeared in one of the skits on the SONNY & CHER COMEDY HOUR
which first aired in January 1974 when he still was the Champ.
(check out the size of Foreman's drumsticks)

Redd Foxx had a connection to George Foreman through Archie Moore whom he hung out with since at least 1959
( perhaps through Dick Sadler who was Moore's manager/trainer at that time)
Did you know that one of Redd Foxx's classmates while growing up in St. Louis was Bob Satterfield ?

yeah,I remember reading that in a biography about Redd Foxx.
Also his father (who I think originally was from Chicago) knew Jack Johnson,
as Johnson gave him a pair of his boxing gloves from one of his ring fights.
those were said to have been a prize possesion of the Sanford family (Redd Foxx's real last name).

Yeah, pedofilia and homosexuality are said to be beyond rampant in Hollywood. It's totally controlled and run by Satanists.

George Foreman as a special guest on a Bob Hope Television special that aired in February 1973,
taped not to long after he became the Heavyweight Champion of the World (in January 22 1973)
George Foreman appears in the sketch beginning at 29:35
and he appears again toward the end of the show at 47:05 were Bob Hope asks him about the fight with Joe Frazier.
