Starting next season

Post by gilgamesh »

Now that I have Mod powers, and can edit posts. Starting next season I can make damn sure that everybody keeps their records updated because if they don't I'll freakin' update them

I don't think anybody would object to this as I would only be doing so with the intention of giving us a more complete Sim experience. I assume the only reason some of you guys don't update your records is because you forget. I'm good at not forgetting these things.

The only people that have their records fully updated now besides me are armageto and Crease, and I thank you for your commitment to proper management gentleman :salut:

That will entail a lot of work. But it's always nice to have an extra pair of hands on board and sharing the work load.

Management is about more than making challenges & moaning when results don't go your way. Proper admin of your fighters is equally as important, particularly when it comes to the latter stages of the season and we are selecting our Super Six.

We might need some new blood as well. Active owners are vanishing this season. Still have our active core which is nice, but a few constant management teams would be an upgrade to the Sim experience.

honestly if FOL would send me some wholesale info (if that's even possible,) on my fighters... I would attempt to update my info.....My wife struggles day to day with stage 4 lung cancer and final stage kidney failure and my attention is often on my job, and seeing to it she gets what she needs to survive,....she has been enduring unimaginable challenges and just keeps punching......but updating my fighters is one thing I simply havent been able to justify the time.

Apologies....

That's awful Buzz, and as I'm not going through anything like that I'd happily update your record for you as I certainly do have the time, and am not going through anything nearly as difficult. My sympathies Buzz. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you.

It would only be hard if love was not involved. It's easy, because any labor of love is energizing, not depleting.

Mother of my daughter, and best friend.

That's not to say there is not a lot to be done. But none of it is burdensome. Turns out I got a pretty good "Mr Mom" lurking in me.

One day at a time....today's a good day.

Nevertheless, don't worry about such trivial things as keeping your record updated. I can handle it. It'd be a pain in the ass to go back, and fill in all the gaps in everyone's record this season, but next season when I can make the updates every week as they happen it'll be fairly straight forward. Though it'd still be nice if everyone made their record page, and had their team's logo/manager whatever at the top, I can take it from there.

I've wanted to ask you for a while Buzz how your wife was doing, since I knew she was sick. I try not to bring up personal life stuff to often on the site, so never did. Sorry to hear the latest on her man, hang in there. Just enjoy the time you guys currently have.
