No worries there. He's used to worse punishment in training.

Total protected fraud since 147. Every fight rigged in one way or another. Every fight was a handpick except Pacquiao which was forced on Floyd by Moonves. But Haymon rigged the judges and had NV cover up the illegal IV the day of the fight and rigged NV to reject Pac from using legal painkiller for his shoulder. You got rope a doped.BitPlayer wrote:K brah.montrealsuper wrote:Without Haymon's corruption and protection Floyd Jr would have had Floyd Srs career.

Whats a matter? You can't handle truth because it exposes you as a brainwashed dolt? Floyd even f***** told you "Yeah but I'm a rich coward." and you still didn't wake up. Floyd sucks and his example of fixing ducking and handpicking has left boxing in America near ruin. Now he needs to piggy back off the UFC to resume his fraud career. If Rousey never lost Floyd would probably be begging her for a fight right now.

Mayweather could have fought anybody and it would have made good PPV business - whether you like him or note, people will pay to see him fight anyone. He only agreed to fight McGregor because for some reason people like his attitude and it would therefore make him a stupid amount of money at relatively low risk.
You constantly drone on about him ducking people?? He could have comfortable stayed in a lower weight division and reigned as world champion for 15 years if he wanted to. Instead he moved through weights to fight better opposition and make himself more money.
As for "boxing in America being near ruin" being his fault - how does being the biggest PPV draw in the sport make it his fault that the rest of his compatriots have done poorly in comparison?
It is clear you don't like Mayweather - I'm not keen on him myself - but you let your dislike contort reality to match a predetermined agenda.

Because all of his fights were boring rip offs. People don't trust boxing anymore. They think it's a scam ponzi scheme. With protected fighters winning fixed fights, so they can keep winning and keep ripping off the public. Floyd and Haymon symbolize this greed corrupt modern day fraud fighter. Ward vs Kov was a great match up but the fans don't trust the sport right now. Floyd can't fight just anyone. Berto Guerrero Ortiz Maidana were all PPV disappointments dressed up with false fake #s. That's why Moonves forced Floyd to fight Pac - because Floyd stopped selling. Berto was a bust. That's why Floyd sat out for two years. Showtime wouldn't invest in him anymore. So Floyd fake retired to hide that fact. Since Floyd was afraid to fight Pac again, or GGG or Canelo again, they finally decided on McGregor. But now Floyd can't pay the $25m so he just might have to throw the fight, if Mcgregor and Dana White ultimatumed it. We will soon see with our own eyes if it's a real fight or a fix.cpfc_fan wrote:You are probably the only person who actually believes this.montrealsuper wrote:Whats a matter? Re: Now Floyd sounds like he knows he's going to lose
Floyd is considered the PPV king because he piggybacked off of both oscar and Pacquiao. But Floyd yells and cries that he's the king and all his dope fans buy everything their idiot masters says. Haymon manipulated Greenberg at HBO and Espinoza to put all their money into building Floyd as the Face of Boxing. HBO/Greenberg shunned many Klitschko fights and invested HBO resources into building up Floyd. When HBO realized the mistake of it they got rid of Greenberg and then Haymon manipulated Espinoza. So Floyd had all the right political support and protection for his whole career. He was manufactured into being the Face of Boxing even though he's a boring protected fraud. Floyd is a very good fighter but severely overrated. He would not last past four rounds with Hearns Duran SRL etc. Well of course Floyd would have ducked them all and said they all use steroids. Floyd showed his true colors ducking Pac for six years. The sporting public is sick of Floyd. Boxing in USA is now suffering the backlash. Hopefully GGG vs Canelo will be real and it can help bring boxing back. Hopefully it's not a fix for Canelo.

I think some fighters are 'protected'...or at least their record prevented from getting losses on...for too long.
But other than that, boxing is what it always has been...promoters doing what they can to sell fights that the public want to see. It has been the same for over a century. Boxing history is littered with potential fights that didn't materialise; if you think that Mayweather is the first you are simply wrong.
Trying to make out that Mayweather has ruined boxing because you don't like him is ridiculous.

How many great fighters did Fraudweather duck and cheat out of their shot at glory? Floyd got his shots at glory from Gatti and Oscar who both could have ducked the bitch. Then Fraudweather gets on top and ducked... prime Margarito, prime Cotto, Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Golovkin. These fighters were all in position for superfights with Floyd and got ducked. All these fighters could have had far greater legacies with KO wins over Floyd but they got cheated out of their well earned big shots because Floyd and Haymon wanted easy money fighting their handpicked or paid off patsies. Floyd Haymon model ruined boxing. Now all of PBC and TMT frauds handpick their patsies and duck the real fights the fans want to see.
The truth is hate to those who hate the truth.

Boxers for the last century have, for whatever reason, not fought all possible opponents. You, as do many on this forum, choose to call it 'ducking' for some reason, trying to imply they are scared they will lose.
Ditto for Haymon...you seem to believe he is the first promoter in history to carefully select opponents. You could direct the same accusation at just about any promoter.
My question is really simple, why do you direct all of your anger at Mayweather and Haymon when you could choose just about any wold champion/promoter and find an opponent they 'ducked'.
Re: Now Floyd sounds like he knows he's going to lose
Your ramblings about Mayweather sound like an absolutely insane person. I'm tempted to give you a warning for trolling behavior if you don't start to contribute something of more substance to the forum other than Mayweather/Haymon vitriol. There's a whole sport going on. Do you care about anything else in the sport or do you live to discuss Mayweather?...Poorly might I add.montrealsuper wrote:How many great fighters did Fraudweather duck and cheat out of their shot at glory? You guys are all way off about this one. No one cares MORE about their legacy than Floyd does. Floyd will make more money, punch more baby mama's and have more rifts with the IRS...Regardless of what happens in this fight, Floyd will never be considered TBE by anyone who knows anything about Boxing. Caldo; He ducked the best of his era because he's as he told us, a rich coward. True greats don't want or need protection, only a protected fraud coward does. Haymon was the goombah who made it all happen. Just like the mob who fabricated the hwt fraud Primo Carnera. Haymon tried to fabricate Seth Mitchell and now Wilder but he's lost his touch. And apparently he does not have the $ stream to corrupt like he used to during the big $ Floyd years.

Re: Now Floyd sounds like he knows he's going to lose
Both Floyd and Conor have an incredible talent of self-marketing. They both know how to sell fights.
Floyd tries his best to convince people that this is a close fight by pointing out his age disadvantage and stuff. He knows that this is a tough sell, so he's baiting people. Conor on the other hand knows that he doesn't stand a chance. He's in it for the money and so his job is to convince people that he's better than he actually is.
Paying 100 bucks is the real head scratcher in this one. Living in Germany, I can watch this fight on PPV for 10 Euros (on DAZN) and I'll probably not going to watch it regardless of the low price.

You are totally wrong, way off..is what you are. Wishfull thinking maybe. So many have wanted Floyd to fail over the years. I guess we'll find out in due time so neither of us is wrong yet. But here's why I think that you're wrong...if I may? Floyd's bound to F up his life and do something stupid and he will no longer have a fight to win to make up for it because he'll be too old. Unless, of course, this is the first of several promotional fights against celebrities, women or animals. It took him 2 years of retirement to not be able to pay his taxes. What do you think is going to happen in 10 years? He's going to do something in the end that will overshadow his accomplishments inside the ring and history will be much less than kind to him as you say.Badhusker wrote:You are totally wrong, way off..is what you are. That's certainly wrong. First off, he paid his taxes so all of you guys desperate for him to be broke should go to an accounting message board or something. Highly regular behavior for rich people in the United States to have tax disputes.
Secondly, Carlos Monzon is more recognized for being a great fighter than he is for being a murderer. Sugar ray robinson is the consensus GOAT, not a guy who delivered more punishment to his wife than he did LaMotta. Floyd will always be known as great. That's just something you guys will have to deal with. So will Pacquiao, an equal candidate for fornicating something up in short order.
