He's in negotiations for a fight with an English unbeaten fighter...if it comes off should be a good battle mate :TU:

most exciting prospect to watch at the moment is zelfa barrett. looks like he could go a long way and seems grounded with a great team around him.

like bradley skeete, josh taylor, sam bowen and anthony yarde too.

Josh Taylor, Anthony Yarde, AJ, Anthony Fowler.

There's also something that intrigues me about Joshua Buatsi. I remember Andre Ward put a post on Instagram about him and about how he studied boxing day and night and took a notepad and pen with him when he met Ward. I always keep an eye out for him.

Andrew Selby because I'm Welsh and byist.

He's such a talent. Could easily be a multi-weight world champion with the right fights.

Is there a better puncher versus boxer fight than Higa-Selby in world boxing?

I ask because for example, topics on the likes of David Price garner loads more traffic than more decorated pro fighters such as Selby, McDonnell, Flanagan and Burns. Oh, and I'm considering Tyson as 'current'.

Maybe it's a weight thing.
If Josh Taylor keeps getting mentioned, it's not a weight thing.
Exciting prospect, the Davis fight showed a lot of people he is one to look out for.

It's sad that Selby doesn't get as much hype as Charlie Edwards, because he's a supreme talent.

When are they expecting to match him for a world title? End of next year?

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a shot late this year or early next.

What is interesting about Fury exactly? Will he overcome mental, alcohol, drag and other issues? Or what other crap he will post on Twitter. Is that what boxing fans are interested in? Its obvious he will never fight. Necrophilia goes on.

Saw Joshua's first pro fight last night and was impressed. Good movement, nice combinations and plenty of power behind some cracking body shots. Not too many guys at any level would have absorbed those hooks to the liver without getting rocked.
Early days for sure, but definitely a guy to watch out for.
Seems Eddie is going to put him on the fast track.

I'm really interested in Asinia Byfield at the moment he boxed the ears of sammy McNess the other month and this week he's been out at the Mayweather gym sparring Gervonta Davis. This boy looks a real talent
Asinia Byfield is a super welterweight, whilst Gervonta Davies is a super featherweight so I doubt they spared, also sammy Mcness is limited making byfield look better than he actually is

Dereck Chisora has been been the master of his own destiny, taken his own path, lost 7 fights, yet remains as marketable, relevant and interesting as ever.

For much the same reason I liked Audley

Going for the Olympians. Joshua Buatsi looked great in the olympics I am looking forward to seeing how far he can go.

Michael Conlon, excellent amateur and Top Rank's record with the few Olympians they sign is frightening.

Lawerence Okolie, looks an exciting prospect and in an underrated division, so their could be some good fights down the line with him.

Other than Olympians: Jason Quigley, keeping obvious tabs on him. Wish he could fight on these shores soon.

Buatsi, Kelly, Okolie, Fowler - Its always good watch to watch how the Olympians develop in the Pro game and how they are managed along the way.

The Sky profile with AJ/Yafai/Campbell etc gives Matchroom a big advantage in getting them signed - its good to watch them from fight 1 onwards.

Josh Kelly certainly looks a special talent.

Taylor, Yarde, AJ for me. Skwete and Eggington are worth watching too. I'm looking forward to Crolla and Burns just cos I think it's a really good matchup but I think they've both reached their level.

The competition with Eubank, Groves and Smith all there looks good value too.

I'm enjoying it at the moment, I think we'll see this as a pretty good era in the UK

With Sky/BT/BN/Dave and Ch5 we've got as much coverage as we've ever had in the UK.

Sauerlands said another 2 weeks for UK TV sorted for WBSS - they'll need the UK cash for the pot / especially with SMW heavily stacked with UK fighters. Groves v Eubank is likely a PPV but realtistically they need Sky for this but they won't buy all the packages.
