No, I don't bet odds that high. I don't have a high enough bankroll to make it worth it even if it is a lock. Just a principle I've always adhered too. Conor has no chance, but if I bet $2,000 to make $300 it opens the flood gates and the next thing you know I got $2,000 on Bj Penn to spank Frankie Edgar. Just too much work for the inevitable loss to cover.
There are just too many good fight odds from -150 down, that's where I bet.

That's the current battle I'm having ATM. The amount of money I would win wouldn't be that great compared to if I lost the amount I had to bet. I'm confident it's a lock. I don't see any possible way a one trick pony outsmarts one of the greatest defensive fighters in history. I've got a mate who managed to put a few straight up bets with some of his friends, he's on a real winner there.

I'm with you, I'm just afraid to go against something I haven't ever done. I prefer locks of the Pac/Dlh & Maidana/Broner variety.
I don't know why but I can't stand Kevin Lee. I never have. I hope Ferg smashes him.
I'm disappointed Oleinik didn't get Hunt. Hunt/Tybura instead which doesn't interest me. I like Alexey and I'm glad he's finally getting some respect after years and years of high level performance. A win over Hunt would have been great at this point in his career.
I don't like Lee either. He wants to be McGregor or Jones and even his biggest win was bullshit. High level athlete, but he needs to back up the mouth more than he has for me to enjoy it.

Really answers the question if he was always on the gear or it was a once off though. Funny that he was bragging post fight about beating DC off steroids

I thought you had Juice Silva as the GOAT?
One positive test at 39/40 after a snapped his leg in half gives him some benefit of doubt. A seasoned doper wouldn't take something that stays in your system for 6+ months either.

I'm really looking forward to Struve and Volkov. Physically they're very similar, similar fight experience (in terms of number of fights) and opposites in terms of style; 18 stoppage wins for Volkov and 17 submission wins for Struve. I think Volkov will have too much power for Struve, but if it ends up on the ground Struve takes it.
If you take both Mayweather and Cotto here it pays $1.52 I'm strongly considering doing this. Cotto is taking a stay busy sort of fight and I don't see him losing and we know about the other fight.

I certainly wouldn't. Citing drug tests as a reason for being clean is outlandish. Especially with a failed one.
I didn't site it as a reason for being clean I sited the context around it as a reason why he was likely clean before. No positive tests before or after either while opponents regularly popped.

You just pointed out the difference between when you like someone or not. The massive difference in testing procedures tells me that Anderson was lit up like a candle the whole time he fought in the UFC. Everyone was juiced in Pride, he certainly got a lot more 'special'.
Conor needs to get rid of Irish Edmund. Although no matter the training he wouldn't have won, the game plan was absolute shit. He is IMO the most limited top 5 male fighter in the world despite being hugely successful and I have to think that's largely down to being in a shit team.
What he does to win fights Kavanagh hasn't taught him and Kavanagh hasn't given him the tools to have a back up when plan A fails(and it will, his success is largely due to opponents being stupid and engaging him in the only range he is effective in). His conditioning truly is embarrassing for a full time top level fighter, yes he pushed through it and got he W against Diaz the second time but I do believe that fighters like Ferguson and Khabib will wear him down and finish him. I also think Edgar would've been more than capable of it had he been given the chance as would've Mendes on a full camp.
The fact that his entire gameplan revolved around staying at range trying to land a left hand with one of the greatest boxers of all time really to me says where Kavanaghs head is at. I expected McGregor to use his size to bully Mayweather in close in the hope of pushing him off balance and landing something. Yes he won rounds but he won rounds because Mayweather let him not because he used a smart gameplan in an attempt to catch Mayweather early. I don't believe that McGregor could've game planned for Mayweather to fight that way and Mayweather fighting that way should've been a gift to the gods.
Simply put IMO much like Rousey, McGregor needs a new team if he wants to stay with the competition. I do believe that like Rousey(when women figured out you just push away from the clinch and disengage her at that range) when Conor's future opponents start realising they can do plenty of things to avoid his left hand he's going to have a real hard time thanks to his team not developing him at all.
As far as he said taking risks that no one else has, well that's all bullshit. Every risk he has taken so far has an inbuilt excuse(Diaz at 170, Mayweather)
