Haven't read through all the posts so not sure if already suggested.

I think every fighters record should be numbered so you can see at a glance how many fights they had when they fought someone, fought the a title, had their first loss etc...etc...

So Mike Tyson for example would read -

(3) Don Halpin
(2) Trent Singleton
(Debut) Hector Mercedes

That what if any of the old timers records are incomplete then the number could be skipped to show when a fight is missing off their record

we are going to try it out and see how it goes down

Why does the page not show the boxers records anymore, when looking at the schedule and when looking through other boxers records, this was one of the main features for visiting the site, I use my mobile most of the time

After the recent update, I only see the venue and city in bout results, but not the state or country.

You mean previous 6 bouts viewing results? If so there's insufficient space in Mobile mode to fit all the info. To view all info, including each boxer's record, click on circled 3 dots on right side & select view bout (2nd icon from left)

Boxer's Ratings or Rankings.

2 points far a WIN (1 more for KO or stoppage win).
1 Point for a Draw

10 Points for Elimination/Contention Tournament Wins
5 Points for Elimination/Contention Tournament loss

10 Points for Regional Belt Wins
5 Points for Regional Belt loss

15 Points for National Title Wins
10 Points for a National Title loss

15 Points for Alphabet Belt Wins
10 Points for Alphabet Belt loss

20 Points for LIGIT World TITLE (lineal title) loss
30 Points for LIGIT World TITLE (lineal title) WINS

or something to this effect...

this too me would put the fighters ratings closer to real life and not miles apart, either too high or low from one another.

NOOOOOOOOO. The thing that makes these rankings great is that it doesn't factor in pathetic alphabet belts or belts at all. Keep it that way.

I guess I'm getting used to it.. but still miss the fight number next to each fight for a boxer. Simple thing which was added in last update, but made things a lot easier for me.
Also, another thing which was changed in last update and is now back to how it once was - is the order of fights in prizefighter tournament being reversed, so final showing as being first on the record, then semi, then first round.

I wonder what was the reason for change by the way? I genuinly think the last look was pretty much perfect.

IMO, other than assisting would be boxing scribes & commentators' blah blah during the fight......Who cares?

I do care actually, it matters a lot to me that Lennox Lewis did fight Mike Tyson, but Lennox did that while Tyson only had a rating of 308 left (similar like Thomas Adamek), while earlier, when Mike Tyson had a rating of 1320, Lennox wanted none of that fight.
Also note that a lot of Wilderboy fans now say, look at Johann Duhaupas! He's rank 15 and Wilder beat him! Yea, but Wilder won while he used to be rank 36 or so at the time and wasn't even a fultime pro.

We currently say that the heavyweight top is avoiding each other all the time and with such a system you can easely see that bumfighters like Daffy Duck for example don't dare to fight Shannon Briggs, but at the same time does dare to fight rank 200 or so Mark Dummery.
So Mark might have had 30 wins 1 loss, he's no way near a top contender. Werner Kreiskott with 19 loses has a similar rank.

I have asked something similar once, but then people say that the server probably couldn't handle that, somehow all these odd site changes it appearantly can handle.

THANK YOU. Exactly the point. Even Stiverne and Duhaupas weren't that highly ranked when they fought Wilder back on Boxrec. So it'd be good to knw what their ranking was at the time the fights happened. Plus it gives fans a case to show that a fighter has been fighting top competition in his weight class.

I would like the my Watching list to come up first when I login to the site. I would also like it to be earlier in the menus so that I don't have to click around to find out if my guys are fighting.

I see the same thing with Windows and OSX, both Firefox and Safari. On iOS, I do not see the location at all.

Please bring back the ability to directly click on events in the Watchlist

I noticed I can't see the rating points on I turn them on. I have to look at the bouts themselves to see them. It'd be nice if this could go back to that way.

Oh, and again please show what they were rank at the time for their fights.

After the recent update I can't access my watching list.Rather than that i get a message saying "Something has gone wrong...Something unexpected has happened, if this problem persists please contact us. You can carry on using BoxRec by returning to the homepage." Please, get it fixed.
