He has one more fight at 140 before he moves up, unless Mikey Garcia and his team shy away from it. It would be a great opportunity for him, and a very good fight. A very tall challenge, but hard to think Garcia wouldn't take the fight. Probably Crawfords toughest fight to date.

He already said he was going up to 147 last night. He is gonna be dropping the belts if that's the case, and then he'll be fighting for another belt in his first bout at 147.

Both fighters have several options without each other, and in the case of Garcia he'd be an idiot not to pursue those other options first.

I agree.

Neither fighter is much of a draw at all with casuals. They need to build their brands to make the most of it when / if they fight. Hitman Jr can do that at welter. Mikey can do it at 135 and 140. Then they can meet in a couple of years for big dough.

He said he might have one more at 140. Not sure whom that would be, not Garcia. He'll probably fight vargas for a secondary belt and cross his fingers that he gets Manny.

I doubt he'd go up at 147. People would put so much pressure to fight Spence but I've to agree that it would be a super fight.
