Or Crawford Thurman. There's loads of fights up there that are tasty.crusader wrote:Which is why I say eff staying at 140 if he can get fights with the top guys at 147. The division is already pretty good, but his arrival would light it on fire.
Can you imagine Crawford vs Spence?
Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?

You're gonna get your wish. When asked if he was moving up to 147 tonight after the fight he said "I'm coming"...suggesting that yes indeed that is the plan.crusader wrote:Which is why I say eff staying at 140 if he can get fights with the top guys at 147. No he didn't, and I'm about to combine 'em.crusader wrote:Did you really need a new thread for this?

Crawford/Spence is a dream, but I don't see any of Al's guys fighting Crawford anytime soon. Hopefully, the empty PBC bankroll will make it easier.crusader wrote:Which is why I say eff staying at 140 if he can get fights with the top guys at 147. Crawford vs Garcia, please!

Crawford vs Garcia would be a quality matchup, but I think I'd rather see the two fighters take different paths.apollo creed wrote:Crawford vs Garcia, please!
Crawford to 147 where several interesting challenges await him
Garcia to fight Loma or Linares at 135, before returning to 140 to try to take that division over.

Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
I think Spence is slightly lacking in world-level experience at this point. IMO he needs another fight or 2 vs world-class fighters to prepare for TC.crusader wrote:Which is why I say eff staying at 140 if he can get fights with the top guys at 147. With another top-notch challenger or 2 under his belt Spence could beat Crawford, but I think TC has already surpassed Thurman and there is little Thurman or any other WW can do to catch up to Terence.
In other words, Spence is the only welter capable of beating Crawford at 147 and he needs a little more experience to accomplish that.
Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
Id like to see him defend all titles at least one time, lets say Rances Barthelemy. Then move up to 147 and make big ppv fight with Spence or Thurman. Garcia should move down to 135 and set up fights with Robert Easter and Jorge Linares, he is former 126 pounder, Crawford will be too much for him.
Edit: Crawford clearly no.1 P4P for me. Lomachenko must beat at least 2 of Rigondeaux, Davis and Berchelt to surpass that.

Without Crawford I see Mikey ruling the 140s for the foreseeable future. I would like to see him fight Loma first, but I dont think Arum would ever let that happen!!gilgamesh wrote:Crawford vs Garcia would be a quality matchup, but I think I'd rather see the two fighters take different paths.apollo creed wrote:Crawford vs Garcia, please!

Also Indongo was very dangerous with his lanky reach and his awkward wide power shots.
Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
Very impressive by Hitman Jr. Out southpaws the southpaw. Steps inside the wide lefts and goes body. Never dances away from the bigger man's power. Total control and early finish. 9.8.
Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
Indongo was super overrated. Glad it's over now.
Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
Crawford said they had practiced those types of body shots. Very smart because Indongo looked awkward and somewhat dangerous. Props and congrats to him and his team.
Hopefully we can see Bud vs Mikey Garcia next. I'd like to see him vs Danny Garcia first if/when he moves up. I read they split in the amateurs, but Crawford I'm pretty sure would win. Both Garcia fights would be fun to watch.

Spence and Thurman tied for 5th?Boxing Writer wrote:Not a bad list except of Keith Thurman. I don't consider him as a to-10 P4P fighter at all, and I think that either Crawford or Spence would beat him easily.diddy wrote:Ward has beaten Kovalev and Froch and Kessler.
TCs best win is Felix Diaz. Equivalent to say Sullivan Barrera.
TC is 3 on my list with Loma 2. They're basically tied for me.
GGG would be 4.
Spence and Thurman tied for 5th.
Canelo 7.
If TC beats Thurman or Spence he is undoubtedly #1. I would say the same for Thurman or Spence. If 1 of them beats TC they go to #1.
I'm as big of a fan of Spence than anyone, more than most, but for now at least he definitely does not deserve to be rated above Thurman....even in pfp. He doesn't have enough quality wins to prove that just yet. Thurman is and should be the #1 ranked welterweight until someone takes it from him. Personally I think Spence would beat Crawford, but that doesn't mean anything until it happens.
Re: Crawford vs Indongo is a hell of a fight! How this one is gonna play out ?
Who overrated him? Nobody thought he had a chance basically. He legitimately earned his shot at Crawford, it's not his fault that Crawford is one of the best fighters going.Lackeos wrote:Indongo was super overrated. Glad it's over now.

Broner has proven he can hang with the top in three divisions, Indongo has not.gilgamesh wrote:I wouldn't. Indongo has a better resume at 140 than Broner.punchoutsb wrote:No, it's not deep. And yet his best win? Well he's only got two to even consider. A big upset over Troyanovski and a win over a the past it second best 140 from Scotland is hardly enough to have him that high, in my opinion. He's raw, been dropped four times now, wild and doesn't move very well. I'd take Adrian Broner over Indongo in a heart beat.gilgamesh wrote:
He WAS the 2nd best Jr. Welterweight a few hours ago. Now it's Mikey Garcia. Even now I'd still have Indongo as #3 at Jr. Welterweight. It's not an especially deep division right now.

Who has steamrolled AB? We just saw him lose to the real #2 at 140, and he took a few rounds. He wasn't left rolling on the canvas holding his little tummy within the first quarter of the fight.gilgamesh wrote:Broner has proven that to you? If you're going to be a crude brawler with wide winging shots you'd better be able to punch and take a punch. Aside from one result, Indongo hasn't shown he can do either. This isn't Namibia anymore.

Maidana literally turned him over and pumped his ass. He's tough as nails, he might be able to last the distance and lose every round against Crawford. Broner can't win at that level.punchoutsb wrote:Who has steamrolled AB? We just saw him lose to the real #2 at 140, and he took a few rounds. He'd lose every second of every round against Crawford. Could AB beat Ricky Burns?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Maidana literally turned him over and pumped his ass. The Indongo v Broner makes sense. I would favor Broner but it would be interesting. Broner is not Hitman Jr., not close. Broner tends to cover when attacked. I would expect a close decision or late KO for Broner.

He probably would beat Burns. Of course Maidana was better than Indongo. I guess I jumped in during the middle of a conversation. Though saying Broner proved himself at the top of three divisions is a pretty big stretch. He's been owned by every top fighter he's fought.punchoutsb wrote:He'd lose every second of every round against Crawford.
