I have just seen that - it makes recent events look even more suspicious.

Not that the opponent fell over in the shower (which was a bit of luck for Frampton), but the fact that he missed the weight by so much - Frampton always struck me as the type of meticulous character that would not miss a weight - a bit like a Quigg type, obsessive.

Carl has to go with Hearn /Sky it's just common sense. Al Haymon is all but finished-PBC hasn't really worked and the money and big fights have all but dried up.

Happy days! Carl has been the bread winner for the McGuigan family for too long. Shane and Barry to be on a building site by the end of September :OhYes:

Frampton doesn't like Hearn, simple as. He either goes to America with Haymon or, he becomes BT's poster boy, something that there is a possibility for.

Any word on whether he'll stick with Shane or train with someone else? Can't help but think that relationship would be slightly awkward given how close they all seemed to be.

I very much doubt Carl really dislikes Hearn- there was no real reason to from what I remember. To me, he was just following suit with the Mcguigans- all 10 of them involved in his affairs. Carl to me looks like he just wants stone cold cash for the remainder of his career - no messing about. Eddie and sky fit the bill.

In regards Haymon, your forgetting Al isn't a promoter so Carl would still need one of them. I don't think he would fit in that well with TMT..! maybe Di Bella but it just doesn't make any sense to me. BT..don't see the point signing with frank certainly not ahead Of Hearn on this particular occasion.

We'll see what happens

Shane has a good record as a trainer. He just hasn't been doing it that long.

You don't need to like someone - bottom line is if he can put an outdoor PPV on at Windsor Park - Frampton/Burnett double head in front of 22,000 then he can be biggest prick in the World as long as he's paying you 1m.

That's what he's looking for - big paydays. Quigg slagged him about him earning more once everyone had took their cut of his purse - he was probably right.

They built themselves around his name and profile - he should have done this a long time ago.

There are guys inferior to Frampton with smaller fan bases probably getting more £ than him.

Personally think he hates Hearn

Remember when Hearn was going to have him fight on a Luke Campbell undercard in Hull

I think it will be with Schaefer/Haye/ Ringstar

Cyclone Promotions must be in serious trouble. Expensive premises (Battersea), a lot of people on payroll (prob inflated pay for family esp.)

I used to see the whole posse in Battersea a bit. Swaggering around in a big group. Looked like way too many heads for a small outfit.

The gym in Battersea must cost loads and is only used by pro fighters (who won't pay) and people doing one on ones.

I spoke to Shane once, he was very nice, even a bit shy. Barry wasn't very friendly when I said I wanted a photo for an Irish friend.

No way he goes back to Hearn. Hearn himself doesn't like working as Haymon stooge. And Carl is looking to create his own outfit. Ringstar/Ireland is about to be born.

I've never met Barry but I went to see Carl against Molitor a few years back. Barry was there surrounded by a lot of fans and there was this young boy on the outside of the group. He looked starstruck but too shy to do much about it. Barry noticed him and made sure the lad got a photo with him before he went on his way. I was impressed by that. But I guess everyone has their bad days as well.

You can have Ringstar/MTK etc - but without TV cash it's irrelevant for making big fights.

Dave isn't going to generate money for big fights.

Christ BT/BN couldn't even put on McDonnell/Butler.

That is certainly true. But the way Schaefer is signing he must have a plan. Although I dont know what is it.
