An open personal letter to FMJr

Post by lazboy »

Dear Mr Mayweather Jr,

I appreciate this is a busy time for you. Fight day approaches and you're going to spend less time on the Boxrec forum as usual. You may have seen/read I'm a big fan of your skill and a great number of your fights. You are most likely also a fan of my forum posts as they are generally very, very good and accurate.

I am just a simple fan of boxing, it's my number one favourite sport. I also like poker, a bit of basketball and burlap sack racing. By you creating this event, pitting two different combat sports against each other at the highest level, you have put the spotlight on an already apparent divide. There is no doubt, this is the sport of Boxing vs the sport of Dana White.

Since you have chosen to come out of retirement and have elected to represent boxing, the pressure is on you to deliver the best possible outcome. You will need to stop McConor or make him look foolish, at the least.

Rumours of a gentlemen's agreement, rumours of an injury to be sustained, a rematch, a Paulie Malignaggi comeback. I will tolerate none of this. You must not be injured, lightening must not strike you on the way to ring, you must not slip on a banana peel, Jamie Foxx must not sing the national anthem.

Hard work, dedication, Al Haymon, burlap sack. These are words and actions that have motivated me at times in my life. For the sake of this sport, kick his 29 year old obnoxious ass.

Kind regards,

Lazboy

PS: May I borrow three dollars and fifty cents (Tree Fiddy), its not for me but a friend.

Realistically I think we will be looking at Floyd BREAKING Conor down methodically rather than beating him down. I think cardio will play a huge role because MMA=5x5 minute rounds.

By the mid-point of the 8th round, around the 25-minute mark, McGregor is ripe for the taking. Dont get me wrong, I believe Floyd could take him out earlier but he will not throw caution to the winds, but play it safe, which is his normal modus operandi.

That makes sense. Floyd isn't going to change who he is naturally. Although in terms of cardio, I feel Conor will be as fit as humanly possible, as this fight has been on notice for a very long time, if I'm thinking correctly, almost a year they have been calling each other out or longer. Conor will gass out because he will be missing punches and probably other reasons such as the stress of mayweather being on him, not being able to control the pace and jabs to the body. The only thing is, what if conor, if he hasnt KOed Floyd in the first 4 like he is saying, what if he turns negative and gets on his bike, he did that in the Diaz 2 fight. So its in his makeup and history....can he survive? Thats why, FLoyds gotta clown him if the fight turns that way. I'd be pretty disappointed if he doesnt stop him though.

Not good enough ... only two outcomes are acceptable ...

1) that Floyd toys with him ... plays with him ... humiliates him so badly that he completely breaks down and begins to sob uncontrollably ... at which point his corner-men hustle him out as fans throw everything they can get their hands on at them ...

2) that Floyd damages him ... permanently ... not only so his altered and misshapen-face will be a constant reminder of what happens to such pretenders ... but that he walks on his heels forever more and mumbles incoherently when spoken to ...

Yep. I do it all the time. Generally in fights where I don't like either fighter I tend to root for a brutal war where they both take a lot of damage :OhYes:

It is.

I am dor nobody. I dislike floyd cause he is arrogant and his boxing style is boring. I also dislike connor cause he is very arrogant aswell and stupid acting like a teenager, also very rude.

I hope GGG makes a appearence WWF style and KOS both !!!!!!!!!
