You think you're a big man, yes? We can all make excuses and circumstances in our head for beating on someone. I could get a group of people to beat the sh1t out of you for advocating beating women. Does it make you feel a big man when you or you see a woman being beaten, yeah? Does it make your dick grow 2 or 3 inches? No man are you

What they don't realize is that Floyd is impervious to these types of tactics at this point. He's proven that he can assault anyone he wants and batter who he needs to and we are still going to buy his fights. The article points out the main reason why Floyd has been able to avoid being cast out of the public eye..no images of the woman he's beaten. No pictures have hit the internet. He's bought them all up and even got Las Vegas Police to throw them out somehow. It's an interesting take if nothing else. But none of it matters...we will watch...unfortunately.
If you think your entire livelihood should be stripped from you over something like that you've probably never had a girlfriend.
Of course you should never hit a woman unless its a serious case of self defense or some such emergency. We've all made mistakes, I haven't made that one, but we've all done some seriously stupid shet at one time or another. Like Gilgamesh said he did his time. I don't base my buying decisions on the character of the fighter. I'm not buying this PPV because the matchup is BS. Not because Mayweather did something wrong, which he did and paid for.
You two guys have come up with a couple of ridiculous comments. My guess is that you didn't read that much of the article. "We've all made mistakes"? Floyd is a habitual beater of women...we aren't talking about once on an off day here. He's been caught 5 times at least and those are just the ones police knew about. Not sure if you guys are American or not but athletes that hit women in America are usually done...gone...never to be heard from again. Not Floyd. He can do whatever he wants. It's odd.

Unfortunately this kind of thing is common amongst all athletes, much worse in most cases, and is usually referenced by nobodies in some self serving manner. Sugar Ray Robinson did far worse, is considered the greatest ever, and we don't hear much about that. Either way, it's obvious nobody truly cares that's how it is and will remain. Floyd is no angel. Didn't want or expect him to be. Focus on the fighting, half ass moral crusades are completely meaningless and reek of hypocrisy anyway.
Photographic evidence is everything. Floyd is smart enough to know that those pictures of women bruised and beaten would be the end of him so that's why he bought them all and destroyed them. That's why he's paid off every woman he's beaten. If a video or picture came out of one of these beatings then the public would have reacted way differently and there's no way he'd b in the top 3 top earning fights in history. No shot.

There is no excuse for women beating and if Mayweather was in jail it wouldn't bother me in the least. The difference between other athletes and boxers (at least in the US) is the NFL, NBA, etc have policies like a corporation does. Boxing? Not so much.

While these points are further proof that this country is hypocritical, it doesn't matter.
There is an engrained bias against athletes in these situations.
Apparently it takes athletic ability to put a real hurting on a 110 pound woman.

A lot of people see athletes and "jocks" in general as meatheads. Not all fit that description of course, but some do.

Athletes reflect the "regular American man".
Is a beat down from Floyd is more severe than one from a 240 pound construction worker who works out?
Is the general mentality any different.
I think it's more of "man shaming" by other men. It's "our" way to say, it's "them" that's doing these horrible things.
And it's a way for the type of sportscaster who beats his wife (any examples) to create a worse evil. Men.

The construction worker goes to jail for 10 years, Floyd gets off 3/4 seperate charges and serves 2 months total. That's the difference. Money, power, influence over justice.

True. The sport would be so much better with a commissioner like the other main sports but that would put a lot of criminals on the street looking for work. Boxing is infested with them.

Can you provide a real-world example to illustrate the justification for your opinion or are you simply citing fictional or highly-embellished commonly-held misconceptions?

Floyd is a perfect gentleman to women compared to guys like Tyson, Leonard and Robinson.

I don't know the details of the how bad and how many, but I do know life isn't fair as JFK had said. Robinson and Leonard have physically abused women but I don't believe either have been convicted.
Pete Rose isn't in the Hall because of gambling but Ty Cobb, who did much worse, is. So it goes.

Robinson is one of the worst cases of domestic abuse I've ever seen. She was pretty much just a hostage in her own home. She finally got out of there before he killed her.

I really can't wait until Floyd retires again, so dumbasses like you will finally STFU and move on from your idiotic jealousy/hate.
There will always be a another POS scumbag like yourself that i can turn my attention to when Floyd is finally gone and back to beating women full time.
