No doubt in my mind how yesterday's fight was going to end up. However seeing the fight, McGregor did much better than I expected. I don't think Floyd carried him, but Floyd is a complete pro in the ring, and he takes no chances...he did what he had to do to win. Decisively.
Now, McGregor walked into his ring, and became a victim.
I know Mayweather would never accept the challenge, but if it was reversed, I imagine the outcome would be reversed as well.
But the Sweet Science is not some backyard chain link fenced in shindig, it's a sport, not just a fight.
McGregor is a striker not a boxer. And it does not template perfectly into the Squared Circle.
So....the fight was interesting, fascinating, entertaining for some. And it meant exactly http://WWW.JACKSQUAT.NOT
I'm amazed at the money it amassed, but it probably depicts two sports passing in the night.
I just hope it's not the ascendance of MMA, and Eclipsing of boxing.

MMA/UFC BIGGEST FIGHT WAS IN A BOXING RING MIS-MATCH CONNOR HAD NO HOPE OF WINNING THE SIZE DIFFERENCE WAS A JOKE IF YOU TURN THE TABLES CONNOR WOULD HAVE TO FIGHT SOMEONE HIS SIZE LIKE JACOBS OR GGG OR CANELO NOT LITTLE FLOYD.

Someday people will realize these are two different sports. Floyd was always going to win this, and it was never going to close. In a mixed martial arts match the reverse would be true. It's not rocket science.
