He was in his 3rd, 5the 6th, and 7th fights and those guys had more boxing experience than McGregor had.
He wasn't 40 years old when he scored those KO's though was he?
He wasn't 149 lbs neither. And power is the last to go.
They say that about punchers. Not about guys who were never seen as punchers in the first place. Floyd's punching power was always a result of his speed, timing and accuracy. So naturally as he ages his power is gonna diminish because those 3 things have diminished.

At any time Floyd could have upped a gear and finished him. McGregor pawing and not looking like a Boxer was embarrassing - yes he connected a few times but if anyone thinks that wasn't prolonged to make it look like a half decent bout then they are smoking something stronger than a Benson & Hedges.

Look back at that fight, it's staged by Floyd.
I agree with you 100 percent chief! I was telling people the same thing. I believe that internally Floyd told himself that he can take those love taps from McGregor. In turn , Floyd let Conor hit him numerous times and take rounds to make the bout look competitive like you said and entertaining. If Floyd had dominated the bout from the first to the tenth, the crowd wouldn't of been entertained. The crowd got excited over the "propsects" of Conor winning. Floyd tactics from a business standpoint was genius, but he end up making boxing look bad as many probably believe that MMA fighter can hang in there with top boxers which is not true. Conor made MMA look better by the improvised performance from Floyd.

That was not Floyd with great reflexes we are used to. Connor fought an old rusty guy with injured hands who would likely be beaten by Provo.

When McGregor landed that uppercut and Floyd didn't even wobble, I knew he wasn't going to hurt Floyd at all.
It was the fact he landed it clean not the power, I didn't think he'd be able to hit Floyd.

One clean punch on Floyd? Wasn't worried at all. It's a myth that Floyd doesn't get hit cleanly and one clean shot doesn't win a round.

The clock on the screen is not official, it's almost always a little off and sometimes way off. It's there to kind of gives you a hint.
