Kell Brook without a second thought.

Brook has been more active and fought genuine welterweights all his career, admittedly there aren't a lot of huge names on his record but they are ranked welterweights and he proved he can beat the big names in his division when the situation comes up.

Khan has never boxed anyone who was a genuine welterweight since he moved up, to me he was at his best at super-lightweight or lightweight and he just doesn't have the power or the chin to handle welterweight boxers. Since he started chasing Mayweather or Pacquaio for so long he seemed to just ignore the rest of the division and stagnate as a professional.

The fight a year ago would have been amazing, today I don't think it will ever happen. Khan can't afford a loss because it would be the end for his career, more so then it already is over, while Brook would walk away richer and probably the victor with a list of big fights ready for him.

Hearn will sell the fornicate out of the fight if it gets made and both lads walk away with a more than decent payday. It's the obvious move for both.

It is an obvious fight to make but in reality it's one that Khan wouldn't go for, if he lost against another UK based boxer his career is effectively over without question.

Fighting abroad even against a lower ranked American opponent is a safer bet for him, even if he loses he can run back to the UK with his tail between his legs and blame the long lay off for the loss and claim to be making a 'real' come back in the UK.

Khan's had 7 fights in 6 years. His inactivity is bizarre. He should just retire, he isn't a serious contender in any division.

Khan more interested in being a celebrity nowadays. Genuinely think garcia beat the fight out of him. He got a shellacking that night. Atm he likes the idea of being a fighter...but hes sort of running about these parties/events from the outside looking in... seems to be the guy at the party that everyone eventually politely avoids after a good start. Hes so dumbs he doesnt even realise yet.

Wouldnt surprise me if brook wasnt far off the same stage in terms of taking a couple of beatings now the love of the games going. Perfect fight for both of them. I think its a closer fight than people expect.

I cant see Kell getting back to anywhere near he was. I thought he boxed beautifully in the first 6-7 rounds against Spence. How hard he must have trained to enter the ring at 147 after going up to 160. I think it played a huge part in the outcome of that fight as I genuinely thought he looked the better man, early rounds. Just cant see where he gets that motivation from again after two losses and putting his body through all that.

Still beats khan - no bother that one.

I don't think the fight with Khan will happen. Khan has never wanted it and will keep avoiding it.

GGG and Spence might have done Brook for good. I'm not sure he can come back and be solid mentally. GGG was a bad beating and Spence also gave him a bad beating. Spence really dug in to the body with power shots. Very impressive. I haven't seen a dedicated body puncher like that since a prime McCallum. I loved McCallum vs Julian Jackson. Both were undefeated big young punchers coming through. Jackson comes out like a bulldozer in round one, hurts and blasts McCallum around the ring momentaril but McCallum regains his composure and just kills Jackson to the body with power shots and Jackson gets done in two. Spence is that level of body puncher for me.

Khan looks basically retired now.

I'm still not convinced that Brook will pass a BBBoC medical.

I'm as on the fence as ever for this one. One looks like he's lost his hunger, the other looks as hungry as ever but might be damaged goods.

Kell wins comfortably and he would've done at any point in the last 10 years. I've had a £20 bet on the winner of this fight with my mate for at least 8 years :brick: .......he hopes the fight doesn't happen now as knows Khan stands very little chance

I think brooks one of these guys that gets slightly overrated because his skill levels so high compared to most british fighters anyway. Even then his skill is still high on the world scene. The problem is tho it takes more than skill to win a boxing match.

That fight with khan is a lot closer than people realise. Khan a very basic boxer...but that speed can offset anyone. Took canelo a while to adapt to it. Garcia was taking a shellacking. Lucky for garcia hes got a brain of some kind. And khan doesnt...you could see garcia was setting the shot up every round. Khan was warned from roach about staying in getting one punch too many off. And the inevitable happened. But it was essentially down to khans stupidity. With hunter babying him...you d like to think hes learned from it. He actually fought a good fight against canelo....good lateral movement etc. Canelo was just far too big for him.

I think khan does better than expected tbh. Probably about 55/45 brook. But dont buy into the easy whitewash talk.

Yeah, and I must admit to missing a lot of it first time round. Got very caught up in the event (drinking round my mates), I was very partisan and it just looked like Kell was schooling him early rounds. The bias commentary didn't help. There was a video I watched later highlighting Spence's body work in that fight. He was really working him over, no doubt the body punches had a huge impact on Kell quitting when he did.

Both are cashing out. Kell has been out drinking since May and smoking 20 a day, Amir has just about lost the plot! Kell doesn't even talk about boxing! He's also at least 13 st but doesn't even look fat. How he does 10.7 is mad and probably dangerous.

Kell Brook is one of the most frustrating fighters we've ever had. He had skills to burn but was given the wrong fights at the wrong time, not pushed when he should have been and generally allowed to let his prime slip away. They also spent way too much time trying to fight Khan for the money. He was badly handled.

Khan saying in the above interviews he wants to fight in the UK in 2018, have a fight or 2 before facing Brook.

They’ve left it too late imo

I’ll still watch but this fight is past when it would have been best.

It can be put in the Mayweather Pacquaio, Hopkins jones jr 2 bracket

Khan will always say he wants 2 fights before Brook. We've heard it all before.

Khan has never wanted this fight and at it's least two years past it's sell by date now.
