Is Floyd already washed up?

He is 40, give him a break.
Re: Is Floyd already washed up?
Is this another language issue? Does the original poster understand that "already" in English carries connotations of it being premature?

Floyd is past his best, but not washed up. Itd irrelevant though as he wont fight again.

Although, it's not like he hasn't announced his retirement, only to fight again. I had to lol at those who seriously thought he was done at 49-0....

It was always blindingly obvious he would come back to break the record, he just wanted the biggest payday going to do so.crusader wrote:Although, it's not like he hasn't announced his retirement, only to fight again. I had to lol at those who seriously thought he was done at 49-0....
at 50-0 with no draws, he now has the best unblemished record in boxing, what possible reason does he have to come back, he's never going to need more money, no matter how foolish he's been, he has his own promotional company, and a few young protege's to focus on.
I would be extremely surprised if Floyd came back now.

Do money obsessed rich guys usually 'need' the money?
I think it was his last fight, but I wouldn't be shocked if he fought again.

I don't think he'll ever fight again. I think he's going to focus on his strip club and promotional company.crusader wrote:Do money obsessed rich guys usually 'need' the money?
