I have to give Canelo credit for how well he prepared for this fight. On the other hand GGG looks flabby and like he didn't have to train hard since he's gonna get the biggest payday of his life. I'm a little disappointed of how GGG is looking for his biggest fight of his career.
There's some youtube vids. He looks ripped and he is working hard in them. Haven't seen anything recent of 3G. I think the first installment of the hype show is available though.
GGG doesn't look as muscled as Canelo (I think how he looks by his own standards is far more important), although that second YouTube video has cherry-picked photos (Canelo looking fierce, GGG bending over) that make the comparison look worse.
Watching the footage, Golovkin seems fine to me, and Canelo has always had a squat, well-muscled physique.

yeah, the second video is a little bias but what is notable is how sharp and fast is Canelo. GGG looks heavy and slow.
3G will be as ready as he can be. Training will be no excuse for either of them. We are getting this fight a year later than I would have liked but a year earlier than I expected.
I can't see this being anything but a war, given the pride and professionalism of both camps. Strategy and tactics will be involved but I don't see this going the distance. Team 3G knows the score. They are going to kill or be killed.
I'm beginning to favour GGG again. From the shadow boxing I saw, Golovkins footwork is just much better, he can punch and move naturally. Canelo has the faster hands, less power and is focusing on defence but Golovkin has that jab which can disrupt everything. Plus he can move around Canelo in and out. They both look in great shape, Golovkin looks very solid in the back and nice on his feet. Canelo looks extremely solid too but looks more like a leggo block man lol. Watching them training side by side gave me more confidence in Golovkin.
GGG better be ready for the fight off his life. Canelo is a legitimate threat, I still think GGG is a bit overhyped and Canelo should be favorite to win.
I wonder if GGG doesn't care about winning this fight as long as he secured it and make good money from it? Maybe he wants to retire and stay with his family. If he's gonna win it , there would be a lot of pressure on him to take other fights. Just saying...

..I'd be surprised if GGG wouldn't care about winning just as much as Canelo. Both look good and sharp, no reason to doubt their committment..Hell, even Connor wanted to win having zero chances...

Even if Golovkin only cared about money, he would still want to win to secure a rematch.

Yes indeed, a rematch would bring to him lots of money.
