Dereck Chisora Retains Goodwin, Parts With Sauerland

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Dereck Chisora has re-signed a management agreement with Steve Goodwin.

The news was revealed on Tuesday and will see the Leighton Buzzard-based man guide the former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion’s career for the foreseeable future.

Chisora, 33, worked with Goodwin back in 2016 for the Dillian Whyte fight, in which he suffered a controversial split decision defeat.

He was then scheduled to box Robert Helenius in Finland earlier this year, but the fight was cancelled by Team Sauerland and Chisora has since terminated his promotional deal with the company.

“We are now able to negotiate for Dereck with various promoters,” Goodwin said when the news was released. “We are very, very close to being able to secure a fantastic deal for Dereck which will make him more active and raise his profile even further.

“Watch this space.”

Del Boy is a bad bad man. A focused Dereck causes anyone problems imo

I'd love to see him fight Wilder, I'd back him to the hilt
