Canelo Medical/Mandatory Suspension After Chavez Bout?

I just noticed on Canelo's page that he was issued a suspension by the NSAC after the Chavez fight. The page says the suspension doesn't end until 11-2-17...which confuses me since the bout with GGG is in a few weeks. Can someone provide an explanation?
