Whilst he's reading, I'd like to ask Matt what's happened to the podcast? Used to enjoy him and John Dennen's weekly chat.

Same here - always enjoyed the Opening Bell and it just seemed to disappear. Time constraints to blame? It seemed to be very regular before getting a bit more sporadic and finally vanishing.

I liked the idea of it just being a general chat which could be twenty minutes if there was one big story or an hour + if loads was going on.

It was initially time constraints. However, it's something we enjoyed doing and we're currently researching the best podcast platform for relaunching it. Once summer holidays etc are out the way, we plan to bring it back every week.

I'm under 50 and have never heard of it either. I think it's improved a lot under Christie though. They used to have lots of self promotional stuff in there before like two pages of who they thought were the heroes of the week etc but now it's all proper boxing news.

Some of the features are excellent and there are plenty of them. That history column is a good read every week too.

I get the digital version for 40 quid a year and it's out on Tuesday nights, they really must graft to get it out by then. Wouldn't be without it.
