allegedly: Platform review

Post by DavidPayne »

I'm about to return as a subscriber.

Last time I went for SKY and then couldn't believe it wasn't available via SKYGO on the iPad or Multi-Room, which would have improved my use of the service. I was unable to transfer to an equivalent online option without reregistering and paying the sign up fee.

Now in the interim, things have moved on.

I'm considering opting for the ONLINE or iPad version this time to increase the potential for me to watch boxing when and where I can.

Its a busy house!

Can anyone review the stability of the on-line feed for me before I commit as some of the APP based Amazon reviews are awful.

Many thanks,

I don't know anyone who's ever used the online platform, but it's been available for some time so I imagine negative reviews would be fairly easy to find if it has any consistent issues.

I’ve subscribed via the app for years (cast it to my TV using Apple TV) and its excellent. They made it HD a few months ago. There’s an on demand section too which is very good with basically everything shown on the channel for the previous 3 months.

My only gripe is they sometimes took a little while to upload early morning fights to the on demand area but even this seems to be sorted recently.

The app is free to download and you can use some of the free content (like the Bunce hour) if you wanted to give the functionality and picture quality a test run. I highly recommend it.

Hi pal just had a quick question you might be able to help, if I subscribe to allegedly for £12 would I be able to watch the Canelo bout or do I need to purchase it separately via boxoffice for 16.95?

All BN subscribers get the PPV as part of their £12 fee
