David Haye and Tony Bellew look set to meet this December in a high-profile rematch despite promoter Eddie Hearn stating a deal was dead in the water.
An announcement on the second fight could be made as early as this week, with the return likely to head back to the O2 Arena for a date before the Christmas holiday period.
Bellew took the first clash via late stoppage as Haye was hampered by a serious achilles injury and questions have been raised about the manner of the former WBC cruiserweight title holder's win ever since.
This has led 'The Bomber' to want to rubberstamp his victory in what could be an even more lucrative encounter than the initial meeting back in March.
Both fighters earned millions from the Pay-Per-View battle, with Haye earning more that Bellew on the night, although this time around the purses are expected to be in a lot closer order.

The first fight was highly entertaining. The rematch could be intriguing, but then again, it could also be a tad one-sided if Haye's body holds up and he doesn't suffer an injury during the contest.
Bellew will likely lose the rematch, assuming another freak injury doesn't occur to his opponent.
David Haye will almost certainly try to box Bellew from the get-go this time.

Hopefully Haye can come into the fight healthy and leave us with no doubt as to who the better man is

If you are correct the announcement is tomorrow at 10-30am.
I have a funny feeling with Price pulling out of his proposed upcoming fight that Haye could be fighting him. I hope im wrong because that match up wont be very competitive but Haye v Bellew 2 would be a better encounter.

I think it will be a one sided fight, iassuming it will actually happen at all, Bellew is simply way to far above his league.

P-l-e-a-s-e God!!. . . .please make David 'My Toe Hurts" Haye go away for good. . . or he could fight Roy Jones Jr. and they both agree to retire.
