Jermell Charlo vs Erickson Lubin - one interesting fight !

Post by apollo creed »

Is Lubin the next Errol Spence at 154 ? IMO is a hard fight for both fighters but I think Jermell is in his prime and has more experience at a pro level and speed too. Lubin is just that raw, powerful and tough type of fighter.

Interesting fight for sure, as is the case when a talented prospect takes a big jump up like this.

Lubin has looked steady against a lower level of opposition, while Jermell, though more experienced and clearly talented, can blow hot and cold. I'm excited to see how it plays out...

I did not like these Charlo twins, but Jermell is better boxer than his brother and he can be too mouch for young Lubin. Anyway, my thought LUBIN TKO :box: :box: :box:

Yeah, I think the experience of Jermell will play a major factor.

Lubin looks tough and powerful but it ain't like he's gonna fight a 35+ y/o fighter. Jermell at 27 y/o is in his peak and he's a very talented boxer too with experience.

Charlo by competitive but clearcut decision. Lubin just doesnt have the experience against top-notch competition but will still acquit himself well. His time will come and he gets major respect for taking a title shot so early in his pro career (even though he's been pro almost 4 years his 18 foes lack a legit top 20 contender).

Charlo may have his hands full with Lubin.

I totally disagree that jermell is the better Charlo. Lubin Vs jermell could be a big one down the road. Erickson wins this one fairly convincingly.

Wow, bold prediction. I haven't seen a line for this one but am guessing charlo will be at least a 2-1 favorite. I will be rooting for Lubin but I think this is a very tough fight for him.

I'd be surprised if lubin wasn't the favourite. My other post I meant jermall and lubin would be a big one down the line. New phones autocheck are especially brutal.

Yeah, Lubin looks like the type of guy that he's willing to give all in the ring. Jermell is in one nasty fight.

I just checked him out for the first time and the Spence comparison is on-point, in terms of style and attributes.

I've seen 6 or 7, 1 live. It's surprised me he's had no hype on here. I started a thread about it.

I think Lubin is a pretty great prospect, but he is also really young, and I think both of the Charlos are killers. I expect Charlo to kill Lubin.

Interesting prediction. I've got Charlo winning a clearcut but competitive verdict. I'll be one of those giving you props if Lubin wins in convincing fashion. :salut:

If you look at Jermell's resume the only decent win is Martirosyan and that fight was close. Anyway , it all comes down to which fighter trained hard and who wants the win the most. :TU:

Martirosyan's fights with Lara and Andrade were close. Glad that we established that Charlo is about as good as Lara and Andrade.

In about a month we'll establish that lubin is better than jermell.

If Lubin wins this, I'd like to see him against Lara.
