cracking fight. Just watched some of webb on youtube - heavy handed at the level he's been fighting but quite slow. Gorman the better boxer. two unbeaten fighters, whats not to like.

Is the fight actually going to happen or is Nick Webb pulling out again?

I don't believe he was at the presser today, read into that what you will...

Gorman all day long. Not only is he a good fighter but more importantly he is a genuinely nice guy. Saw him on Friday at a show in Walsall and he spoke to us and gave us loads of his time

Press conferences where you have one brash, outspoken fighter and an obviously quieter character are horrible to watch. Theres no doubt about it who wins that one outside the ring. Liam smiths a prick but he does probably have a point, Williams surely could have carried on. I think he will win the rematch in similar circumstances, hopefully minus the blatant headbutt.

Yeh I saw him at his last fight in Blackpool, after his fight he was hanging around ringside chatting to everyone and anyone which was nice to see.Seems a good lad.

And hes a bloody good fighter aswell,I was a little underwhelmed in his fight with Akinlande which turned to be a bit scrappy but seeing up close he is much better than I first thought.Heavy handed fella aswell, quick hands, variety and accurate with it.Doesnt waste much.

So Nick Webb just scheduled another fight in september, I got the feeling he will fake an injury after that one as an excuse to avoid this fight from happening

How competitive would Gorman be against Joyce and Devois?
He looks to be carrying excess but has good ouch variety and fast hand, nevertheless is difficult to gauge against low level opposition

I think Joyce would be too much for him at this stage, different levels but Dubois would be an interesting fight. Both of them need to work on their defense because they both get tagged too much.

Dubois is getting caught when he throws those wild bombs and was clearly buzzed off one in possibly his last fight where as Gorman is just getting caught with relatively easy to deal with sort of shots like over handers etc shots he should really see coming.

Early early days for them both yet though, plenty of time to work on these things.I would probably pick Gorman over Dubois if I was pushed as theres something about the way Dubois takes a shot that makes me think with the power and speed Gorman has he would stop him.

Also the fact Gorman is being matched really tough so far in his early career gives him the edge over these other guys right now.

Well, I'll check out the detail tomorrow, TBH I expected Nick to chicken out, but perhaps there's another reason, or just a teamwork excuse.
