Stoppage was spot on for me. Huck took a sustained beating and there was no signs of Usyk letting him off the hook (pardon the pun) any time soon. Mentioned it before but I'll say it again, Usyk's engine is incredible. That was a non-stop 60+ second long assault after 10 rounds of excellent movement and combination punching. Definitely the man to beat.

He's not a big puncher and doesnt really get hyped as one, though hes had enough pop to get his opponents' respect. He's a skilled boxer with very good stamina and he can step on it when openings come up

Yeah. He's got a very awkward style, mixed with very quick feet and good handspeed. Obviously a good boxing brain, adequate power and very, very fit.

Briedis/Perez.

Think I would have preferred Usyk/Briedis as the final, but at least we get Gassiev vs the Dorticos/Kudryashov winner, which can't be anything other than entertaining.

Yeah its a unique style. Whilst some of his footwork is similar to lomachenko; I wouldn't say their styles are exactly the same.

Only downside to tonight is the ITV and then streaming issues.

No doubt Hearn will get his sly digs in about them in his next IFL interview, if he's not behind something you get that feeling that deep down he wants it to fail. Hence why he puts no effort into promoting his fighters for any non-Matchroom shows - Taylor/Davies and Smith/Skoglund spring to mind.
