Why compare a heavyweight with a cruiserweight?
Huh? He's going to move up. Fair enough, Holyfield would beat him soundly at Cruiser.
Holyfield would....Who else ?

Nobody knows if he Moves up. Right now he is cleaning out the division, a division which never looked any better than right now.
Ok, maybe he woin't move up. He hasn't come close to eclipsing Holyfield in any form.

Let's see him win this tourney. I don't know that he would be ok with Qawi over 15 furious rounds. I still have Dorticos winning this thing.

Huck beat Povetkin as far as I'm concerned. Usyk lacks power, great boxer though. Holyfield would have stopped this version of Huck inside 3 rounds.

Sorry, no, Povetkin is not a big puncher.
Pov is a big puncher. He is no david tua, yet still a very powerful puncher. Usyk lacks a bit of power, he aint no haye on the power departmant, his + points lay elsewhere

Tua has overrated power to begin with, Povetkin isn't in that class no matter how many PED's he takes.

Honestly, I don't know a lot about Dorticos, and I will have to find his fights on the You Tube.

His punch variation, footwork and ring iq are already better than holyfields

If anything, he's overrated here. I don't think he is, clearly a top 15 fighter in the world. But we have our JIP's and Valmar's that have him as a God.
Skillset - 10/10
Stamina - 10/10
Chin - 10/10
Cojones - 10/10
Punch power - 8/10
Am I wrong ?
Yes, but not by much. Usyk has work to do. We will know all we need to know six fights from now.

I like the way he takes getting landed on personal. I also think that he needs to tighten up his defense.

Cruiserweight version of Holyfield was probably among 10 best fighters p4p of all time. He was very good/great in absolutely every aspect of the game. Yeah, I'd definitely favour him over Usyk. But I'd favour Usyk to beat any other cruiser in history. Haye would have had a good puncher chance, but who else?

What makes you go with Dort? Good fighter, but he went life and death and needed to come back late to beat his only top 20 opponent.

Maybe moorer, who possessed brutal punching power at cw

Or juan carlos gomez, who in his prime was a very athletic elite cruiserweight

Moorer was past his prime and Ruiz was pre-prime. Overrated doesn't mean he couldn't crack, but 'chinny' guys like Rahman and Maskaev ate his power like doughnuts. The best thing about David's punch was that it didn't diminish as the fight transpired. Though I must say he was very incompetent as a boxer at the top level so perhaps I don't give his power enough respect.

He could only dream of having footwork and punch variation like Holyfield's. Man you're dumb.
