I wasn't there but I wouldn't call either of those results upsets.

Cello Renda is horrible opponent - so tough/rugged - always makes things difficult for whenever he fights.

I know I was reluctant to use the word upset that's why I threw minor in there.

Renda seems to have been around forever good to see him getting the win last night.

Why didn't BN cover it?

Edit: I mean the tv channel, not the mag.

Always like to see unfancied fighters like Renda pick up a belt...

I was there - as Jon P said, Renda-McKenzie was one of the great small hall fights. Both men hurt several times, both dug so deep. Renda looked all but done in the 3rd. In the end, his experience may have been the difference as he forced McKenzie to engage when Leon had done well on the back foot in the rounds preceding the finish. Tremendous sportsmanship from the loser, who was clearly disappointed but found time to congratulate Renda

If it is McKenzie's last fight, I salute him as a real sportsman; a shame that this fight went unbroadcast as it was a beauty.

As an aside, security was very tight last night and it took some time to get in. No qualms about that, though I did miss the McIntyre fight.

Wasn't it Renda that was in a Fight with a Double knock down?

Have found the security at York hall to be very tight recently and takes along time to get in
