Promoter Eddie Hearn is expecting a crowd of nearly 80,000 at the Principality Stadium – which has a roof - once seating configurations have been confirmed.

That would beat the previous record of 63,315 for an indoor fight which was set when Ali fought Leon Spinks in a re-match at the New Orleans Superdome in September, 1978.

That's very disrespectful... Klitschko is an ATG Heavyweight Champion who's record was 64-4... Joshua pulled more fans than Ali ever fought in front of.

Didn't Ali get knocked on his ass by 185-pound bleeder, Henry Cooper---who had many losses including several by KO??? Ali had the same pro experience following that fight as Joshua has now.. and Ali was coming off a very close win over Light Heavyweight Doug Jones, who was boxed to death by Light Heavyweight Champion Harold Johnson.. The Heavyweight landscape in that day was less impressive than the Cruiserweight landscape of today.. A huge slice of the planet didn't even have professional boxing back then.

I'm a Boxing fan. Didn't really give a sh*t about Mayweather vs McGregor. I'm interested in Joshua vs Pulev, but it's hard to get all that excited about a fight where the only question is "What round does this guy go down in"

GGG vs Canelo is the most anticipated fight so far of the decade for me. I couldn't be more excited for that one.

I just don't get excited over a bodybuilder who gases out after every combo thrown, who nearly lost to a two year inactive Klitschko, and only became the IBF Champion due to crooked politics. I meant in context of Cap criticising the value of this AJ fight. Since becoming champ, Wilder has fought 4 of 5 fights in his back yard. So who else is AJ supposed to fight that will be seen as worthwhile? Fury and Wlad have retired.

He's not a draw, only place he can sell tickets. Too bad povetkin couldn't make it to the fight in Russia. Nothing wrong with pulev as an opponent, no need to say something untrue about wilder.

Not getting excited about Joshua-Pulev because Pulev is nothing to get excited about, and never was. Not Joshua's fault there's nothing out there. The heavyweight division is chock full of mediocre talent that fights once or twice a year. Average age is about 34. In what other contact sport would you see oldies like that? The best guy not holding one of the four major belts (Geez!) is Ortiz and he doesn't impress me much either. Joseph Parker may still develop into something but he's a couple years and a half dozen fights away. Pretty dismal picture. No way they sell 80,000 tickets unless the Brits are not as bright as I assume they are.

Cooper had one weapon... The left hook... And he lost umpteen fights with it because everybody looked for it... Wadimir had the hook, which he butchered Pulev and Chris Byrd -- that was the first either of them went out.. And he had the right hander which he flattened Calvin Brock and Tony Thompson... That was the first time either of them went out.. He had Joshua going, but very far form completing that task... He got taken out in the 11th of a great drama show.. He'll go down as an ATG Heavyweight Champion.. Henry Cooper -- who got FLATTENED by Heavyweight Champs like Johansson and Patterson, and hammered out by ham-n-eggers like Bygraves and Bates..
