Whyte wins this but can't see it happening. Browne would want a couple of warm up fights first and will turn it down. He's just enjoying being relevant again and won't miss an opportunity to make Hatton look bad.

Intriguing fight for me. Whyte is definitely the more skilled of the two (that statement in itself doesn't mean a lot though) but Browne can punch and is pretty dogged and gutsy. Age isn't in his favour though so I'd probably pick Whyte.

IFL interview today, AJ asked about Whyte fighting him and he laughed and said Whyte was beyond that

He doesn't seem beyond Browne to me when his top win by miles is a life and deather with Chis. His next best win after that is probably over a guy who couldn't beat Lenroy Thomas, or maybe Joy Joyce's debut opponent.

I think Browne would be a good opponent for him

I can see Browne pulling this out of the bag. His win against Chagaev is far far better than any of Whyte's wins. He might not have the skills of Whyte but he is a tough tough SOB.

Brownes been out for a bit, but it'd still be a tough fight for whyte I think.

I'd say Whyte but if brownes still got it he could out slug him

I think Browne takes this. I rate Browne above Chisora and Whyte nearly lost that one.

Browne is a petulant child who does nothing but complain about Hatton saying what a shit promoter he is etc. He is continually retweeting criticism of Hatton on Twitter. It's very odd considering Hatton has seemingly done a good job with him.

Is that win tainted now he's been found full of gear twice ?

I wouldn't give him the fight if I was Whyte.

I'd love to see Whyte v Miller.

I'm hoping Eddie gets this one for the chief support for the Cardiff show.

I can't decide a winner. But I do think it will be entertaining as their styles will complement. Browne is aging and it would for him be great to get a decent payday before he retires. Big respect to Whyte if he wins, it will probably put him in the top 8

I don't think Miller wants to travel and was lining up fight for Nov 4th.

Seen Hearn saying he was making him an offer this week.

Has he done a good job? I can't imagine browne has earnt much money, and his profile is pretty non existent. If hearn (who I criticise) was promoting him; he probably could have got him the parker fight in a big money Aussie vs kiwi battle.

Both limited talent-wise but Browne has more heart and determination.

If Whyte gasses as bad as he did in DEL-BOY fight then Browne has the power to finish him.

Browne late stoppage

Hatton has Tweeted that they have turned down an offer from Hearn. Apparently Eddie doesn't value this match as much as a Chisora rematch (unsurprisingly, as that was two Brits who are reasonably well-known, in a fight of the year contender).

Shame, could have been a fun fight.

It's a comparative statement. Hatton got him a chance to win the WBA secondary trinket which Browne destroyed with his repeated doping. However I agree that Eddie would probably have done a better job with him. If Browne hadn't been banned then the Parker fight may well have happened with Hatton. My view is probably tainted as I just think Browne is a prick.

If this does get sorted out would be a great fight still pick Browne to win but will be close.. late stoppage or points win.

Anyone else think this fight would be really boring😴

I don't rate Browne at all and think less of Whyte everytime I see him fight

I'd pick Whyte though

Browne is a glorified doorman
