Could you make polls about how big a fight should be rated? Because in my opinion the Indigo fight should be rated much much higher as 1,25 and the Junior vs the prospect fight should be rated much much lower, if at all.

You feel free to do this in the future.. I'll consider the result.

But once a fight thread is posted, it is final.

Yea, but once you post it it's the first time I see what you rate it?

It is in the schedule and that's usually accurate 95% of time.

I think I'm the only one who had both Nery, as well as Indigo winning.
I looked back at Yamanaka his last few wins and noticed he was just plain lucky while beïng quite slow, especially in the later rounds.
Nery was just fast and convincing. In the end he won even earlier as the 6th.

It's annoying, but my own fould I'm not ranked higher, I forgot to vote twice, I actually thought I did vote on this one. The most annoying thing is that both matches were very easy to predict, in fact nobody had this last fight prediction wrong. Ah well, at least I can still improve next year.

I have to take risk at this point, and TBH I think it's much closer as most people seem to think, the other guy might win as well, but to me it's a 50/50 fight, but for me it's worth the risk to say Indingo since I'm currently ranked so low. Most others seem to think it's a 90/10 fight. Ah well we'll see.

I still don't really understand this, main event Nathan Cleverly vs Badou Jack and 2nd fight Gervonta Davis vs Francisco Fonseca get completely ignored, but old men coming out of retirement vs some newboy is a 3X thread.

Ah well, I guess it's just me.

Try making the suggestion before the night of the fight. Cleverly/Jack is borderline.. I wouldn't have put in Davis/Fonseca.

This isn't my full-time job.

I wouldn't worry about this guy JCS. I wouldn't have included Cleverly vs Jack in this game either. It's not a "Big Fight" and the game is "Pick the Big Fights".

How about Ramirez v Hart? Both undefeated for Ramirez's belt. Hart looks dangerous to me, although he really has not faced anyone. He is tall, long, has good skills and power.

Ramirez is the top of 168. He does not have big power but he has made some good competition look pedestrian.

I think that this fight has the potential to be a FOTY candidate.

What about Oct-14?

Abner Mares - Andres Gutiérrez
Jarrett Hurd - Austin Trout
Jermell Charlo - Erickson Lubin

Or, Sep-30, Kika Chávez - Joya Moreno, the final fight for the WBC Diamond flyweight tourney, and Chávez' regular world title on the line as well. Maybe novelty fight? :TU:

All borderline calls to me... Hurd/Trout probably best of that bunch.

Chavez/Moreno is a top notch women's fight.. but the PTBF players cry everytime a women's fight is included.

I REALLY hope Wilder fights unbeaten Luis Ortiz next... Ortiz deserves a shot! (I mean, in comparison to all others who recently received shots at heavyweight...) :witzend:

Apathy and forgetfulness, both of which peaked for the Mayweather fight, cost me a good shot at the title. I'll probably pack it in at 16-1, since even a Top 10 is lost. Good luck to all!

You have a 3X left. Why quit now? You definitely could reach top 10.

Ok, we'll see. I took my whacks this week. I took two betting dogs in the flyweight bouts, so I may eliminate myself, but as least I'll go down swinging. Thanks for the inspiration :bag:

Wilder Ortiz and Stiverne Breazeale now scheduled on boxrec! 4 November.

I wonder how many times these fights count.

Stiverne/Breazeale is borderline just to make the list.

Ortiz/Wilder is probably 1.25x. Have to think on it.
