You have my vote on that one, at least I agree Lennox wins, maybe inside the distance. I think if Bowe thought he could beat Lewis he'd have had a shot at it.

Lewis beat bowe in the amateurs and was just overall better than bowe. Would have had a chance? Sure he would. If you are tall strong and have determination anything is posdible. Bowe couldve rahmaned lewis. But the favourite wouldve been lewis

Regarding combos, I think they are even (or almost even), but Holyfield's basic advantage was punching power (excellent at CW, very solid at HW).

Usyk throws better combinations than Holyfield... Evander got caught between his punches by wide open Bowe... And he threw one at a time vs Lewis which wasn't effective... Moorer popped Ev a lot too. Holy couldn't get off consistently when he lost the title that time... Evander threw good combinations against stationary Tyson. But not so good against guys who boxed and defended well.

The first Moorer fight happened when Holyfield was diagnosed immediately afterward with heart problems. He dominated and KOd Moorer in the rematch several years later. As a cruiserweight Holyfield relied a lot more on his footwork. When he moved to HW he did not concentrate on footwork or combinations as much as when he was at cruiser.

It's much easier to look impressive when you're fighting the likes of Hunter, Huck and Mchunu. Riddick Bowe is a legit Hall-of-Famer. NONE of the guys Usyk has fought so far will ever get even a sniff at the Hall of Fame.

What did holyfield do to be considered #1?

Boxing lots of nobodys like pikey, fighting a small gnome in qawi. Qawi and de leon where very good, but not super impressiv either. So holyfield beat 2 good cw in a back than weak cw division and therefore he must be #1?

What did usyk do to be considered #1?

In only 13 fights holyfield did nothing but defeating taxi drivers (except qawi). In the same amount of fights usyk has been defeating back than #1 ranked cw in glowacki, top 15 mchunu and ex champion huck.

That "small gnome" Dwight Qawi is a legendary Hall of Famer who dominated a loaded Light Heavy division before moving up to Cruiser!! Evander beat Qawi twice, the second time by brutal KO4.

Even Carlos DeLeon would beat most of Usyk's top victims. The ONLY way Glowacki, Mchunu or Huck even get CLOSE to the HOF is if they pay the admission fee like everyone else!!

Usyk is a very good fighter and could one day be a great one, but you are clearly jumping the gun by calling him "best cruiserweight ever."

Huck fought as good or better opponents than what qawi or de leon fought.

Qawi might have been a destructer at LH but at CW he was a midget, height of 5'7. Holyfield is 6'2, usyk 6'3, both super skilled, both very strong and athletic, qawi not in that league.

I say usyk is the best because his quality is the best. No one has ever been blessed with such a good combo puncher, great footwork, ring iq

Combination punching was evanders greatest skill. His footwork was among the greatest ever as far as always being set to punch. Every punch in the book and a tremendous counter puncher. Even my ass.
